Ebony Season, update 3.8 and Bellaphones: what's coming at the end of 2026
The Ebony Season starts on November 3, and update 3.8 is expected in early December with the Source and a new class, the Bellaphones. What Ankama has announced.
After Emerald, Turquoise, Purple, Ochre and Ivory, the Ebony Season closes Ankama's 25th anniversary year. It starts on November 3, 2026 and comes with the big end-of-year event: update 3.8, presented during the AnkamaLive of October 20.
The Source
The Source introduction quest, started in September with the Ivory Season, will continue at the end of the year. It should tell the story of the Bellaphone people and open access to their temple. A Titan is announced as a new challenge for groups of eight.
The Bellaphones, a class tied to the dragons
A new class announced for December on Dofus, Dofus Touch and Wakfu, with spells specific to each game, the Bellaphones are tied not to a god but to the primordial dragons. What has been announced:
- Three roles: protection (tank), positioning and healing.
- Three elements: Water, Air and Earth.
- An aura that surrounds the character and moves with it: wider, it reaches more targets with less power; tighter, it hits harder but needs precise positioning.
- Six lineages, one per primordial dragon and its Dofus, which change the aura's element, size and effects, as well as the appearance.
