Dofus update 3.7: everything that changes

Clearer fights, a richer bestiary, lighter breeding, rebalanced Cra and trophies, reworked dungeons: a look at the October 6, 2026 update.

Update 3.7 arrived on October 6, 2026, with a new client tested since September. It adds no new zone or dungeon: it is a quality-of-life update that touches almost every part of the game and prepares the end of the year.

Clearer fights

  • Ground marks are sorted into four families (glyphs, traps, runes, portals), with highlighting on hover.
  • Hovering a mark or pressing Y shows its details: caster, duration, effects.
  • The buff window is redesigned: effects sorted by side, states with their icon, monster spells you can check.
  • The Z key shows shields and the HP threshold, and erosion appears as a hatched area on the health bar.
  • In PvM, each turn lasts 15 seconds longer.

A much more complete bestiary

The in-game bestiary now shows each monster's characteristics, initiative and spells by rank, and describes the mechanics of 29 bosses, including Dantinea, Director Grunob, Klime, Merkator, Nileza, Sylargh and Wa Wabbit. Our monster pages also explain how to beat each one and what its loot is used for.

Breeding: cheaper and more convenient

  • The stable goes from 250 to 500 mounts.
  • Paddock gauges and the value of breeding items double: gauges now go up to 200,000.
  • Genetons earned from mating double, and cloning keeps serenity.
  • Makinas are reworked: abilities can also be obtained without them, and Animakinas let you choose the mount's gender.

Classes: the Cra leads the way

The Cra, reworked in 3.6, gets the biggest set of adjustments: most of its single-target spells gain 1 to 2 range.

  • Explosive Arrow, Paralysing Arrow and Slow-Down Arrow can be cast twice per turn, with damage reduced accordingly.
  • Evasive Arrow costs 2 AP: it pushes the target back one cell and moves the Cra back one cell.
  • Tactical Beacon has half the HP, but halves the damage taken by allies.
  • Sentinel now only detects invisible targets within 10 cells.

Elsewhere, the Xelor's Knell costs 3 AP and can be recast every two turns (with less damage), Sadida infections no longer benefit from Eliotrope portals, and Pandawa summons are sturdier at low level.

Trophies, legendary items and forgemagic

  • Trophies are rebalanced: those without conditions gain a second characteristic, those with a penalty see their bonuses double.
  • New trophies: one family adds Wisdom and pods, two others add extra summons.
  • About fifteen legendary items are strengthened, including the Kicked Ass Boots and the Amayiro's Fervour.
  • Changing a weapon's element no longer loses damage (100% potion), and healing weapons can change the element of their heal.

Dungeons and monsters

All monsters and bosses lose 30% AP dodge, and more than 300 monsters become vulnerable to pushback damage. Several fights are adjusted:

  • Captain Meno: glyphs show which monster is about to appear.
  • Dantinea: glyphs mark the summoned Colosshells.
  • Founoroshi: after a full turn blocked, it no longer attacks characters next to it.
  • Protoz'orror: its Krobes disappear after 3 turns (instead of 5), and it after 6 (instead of 10).
  • Bethel Akarna, Solar, Sylargh and Vortex: resurrections and bonuses reworked for steadier fights.

Quests and comfort

Several quest fights are made easier, including A Very Strange Prophecy, Thrust into a Bloodbath, Sleeping Beasty and The Dofus Receptacle. For comfort: the /zaap command followed by coordinates teleports you to that zaap, Incarnam zaaps can be used from anywhere, and the wait in front of a dungeon drops from 5 to 2 minutes.

Our guides are based on the game files: those changed by 3.7 (quest fights, boss mechanics) are being updated.
