A Perfect Culprit

What to prepare

Nothing to prepare: no item, no kamas, no fight. Only an investigation in Bonta.

The 6 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Amayiro

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Amayiro

At the Bonta militia, Amayiro tells you that one of his good friends, accused of treason, has been thrown in prison. Convinced that it is a plot, he asks you to go talk to him to clear his name.

2. 2Question Kit Dingaround in prison

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Kit Dingaround

From the militia's main room, go down the stairs on the right to the prison. Kit Dingaround had a meeting at the tavern: there, he was accused of treason, and the militia found confidential documents about Bonta in his belongings. He gives you his schedule for the day, to work out when those documents could have been slipped into his bag.

3. 3Investigate Kit's schedule

Three checks to make, in whatever order you like.

   • [-30,-57] in the shoemakers' workshop, click the straps hanging above Alphonse Mel to pick up a piece of strap
   • [-30,-56] enter the blacksmiths' workshop and question Kosuke Ichazum: he noticed nothing strange when he saw Kit
   • [-31,-52] talk to Nope: he saw someone following Kit

   • Piece of Strapreceived

4. 4Show the strap to Kit Dingaround

   Items[-32,-57] · Kit Dingaround

Go back to the prison. According to Kit, the strap looks like the one on his bag, but he did not damage it.

5. 5Examine the bag with Ture Inge

   [-32,-57] · Ture Inge

Go back up to the militia's main room, go upstairs and enter the room on the right. Ture Inge shows you Kit's bag: the piece of strap does match.

6. 6Check in with Amayiro

   [-32,-57] · Amayiro

Tell Amayiro about your discoveries. They are not yet enough to prove Kit's innocence: the investigation continues. The quest ends.
