Apprenticeship: Follower of Writing

What to prepare

Nothing to gather: you just need to be able to do the Soft Oak Clearing dungeon, at [-14,-13], by escorting Deni Hoobe.

The 9 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Elviana Tirips

   Dialogue[-34,-58] · Elviana Tirips

Elviana Tirips is on the second floor of the Tower of Orders: go up to the first floor, take the room on the left, go up again and go straight ahead. She asks you to question the renegades you resurrected.

   Dialogue

   1. “Become a Follower of Writing”

2. 2Question the Bontarian renegades

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Bontarian Renegade

In Bonta Prison, from Amayiro's room, go down to the cells. Talk to one of the renegades: they know all of Bonta's interrogation methods and won't say anything.

3. 3Go back to Elviana Tirips

   Dialogue[-34,-58] · Elviana Tirips

On the second floor, then to the right. The renegades are resisting: Elviana Tirips advises you to bring Deni Hoobe.

4. 4Convince Deni Hoobe

   Dialogue[4,-21] · Deni Hoobe

Deni Hoobe is a real beginner: you need to answer all his questions correctly, in this order (kamas, bank account, equipment, dungeon, Xelors and Fecas, Gobball set, Dofus, identity theft). He then agrees to follow you to Bonta.

   Dialogue

   1. “Maybe another time”
   2. “No…”
   3. “Tape des pious”
   4. "No."
   5. “I don't agree with you”
   6. “Yeah, sure”
   7. “A Dofus is a big bearded man”
   8. “Yes, yes, very crazy”

5. 5Report back to Elviana Tirips

   [-34,-58] · Elviana Tirips

Deni Hoobe hasn't arrived: he made a detour through the dark forest to prove that the Soft Oak doesn't exist.

6. 6Rescue Deni Hoobe in the Soft Oak Clearing

   Combat[-14,-13] · Deni Hoobe

Enter the Soft Oak Clearing dungeon: Deni Hoobe is in room 4. He agrees to follow you, but first wants to ask Elya Wood for kamas, and marry her. Finish the dungeon by defeating the Soft Oak.

If you die, you can return to the room where you died, but talk to Deni Hoobe again, who is waiting for you there, to continue.

   • Soft Oakfight · level 140 · 7,800 to 11,000 HP · 15 AP · 2 MP

   Movement[7,1] · Elya Wood

In the first room of the Eniripsa Temple, present Deni Hoobe's request to Elya Wood. She refuses to meet him and tells you to get lost.

8. 8Escort Deni Hoobe to the renegades

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Bontarian Renegade

Go back to the cells of Bonta Prison and let the Eni talk to the renegades. Then talk to a Bontarian Renegade again: at the end of his rope, he agrees to reveal everything.

9. 9Tell Elviana Tirips the news

   Dialogue[-34,-58] · Elviana Tirips

Announce that the renegades have agreed to talk. The quest ends.
