Bring a Climbing Rope and, if you want to avoid the fight, 3,000 kamas.

The 6 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Amayiro

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Amayiro

   The quest starts at the Bonta militia. You must find the lair of the gang of Ecaflip bandits that came to Bonta.

   

2. 2Question the Plain Bandits

   Combat[-17,-41] · Plain Bandit

   Talk to one of the Plain Bandits. Two choices: giving them a thrashing starts a fight against three bandits, doable in a group; bribing them avoids the fight but costs 3,000 kamas. The bandit then points you to Hersa Dark Claw.

   Dialogue

   1. “Give them a thrashing”
   2. “Bribe them with 1000 Kamas each”

   The two choices are alternatives: pick one or the other.

3. 3Talk to Hersa Dark Claw

   Dialogue[-30,-53] · Hersa Dark Claw

   She had a fling with a bandit who passed himself off as the leader but was just a failure. To get revenge, she gives you the position of the lair, and warns you that you'll need a climbing rope and a pass to get in.

   

4. 4Get a Climbing Rope

   Movement

   Buy it at the auction house or have it crafted by a level 1 or higher handyman. Then keep it: it is used in other quests.

5. 5Climb down into the bandits' lair

   Movement[-12,-44]

   With the Climbing Rope in your inventory, click the wood behind the rocks. Then try to enter the second room: impossible without a pass.

   

6. 6Check in with Amayiro

   [-32,-57] · Amayiro

   Sum up your discoveries. Amayiro tried to put together a team to back you up, without success. The quest ends.
