Breaking Heart

What to prepare

Nothing to gather. The four fights can be done in a group if you want, and the Crackler Shaman must not die in the first three.

The 7 quest steps

1. 1Talk to the Iop Priest

   Dialogue · Iop Priest

   Reach the Realm of the Gods via the statue in your class temple. The Iop Priest asks you to retrieve an ancestral crackler heart.

2. 2Meet the Crackler Shaman

   Dialogue[-9,-28] · Crackler Shaman

   Go meet the Crackler Shaman: he must perform the ritual, and you escort him to the broken tower.

   

3. 3Protect the shaman at the foot of the tower

   Combat[-10,-30] · Crackler Shaman

   Guide him to [-10,-30] and talk to him again. A fight starts against 3 Sacrificed Sentinels, which can be done in a group: defend the shaman during the ritual.

   If the Crackler Shaman dies, the fight is lost.

4. 4Protect the shaman at the top of the tower

   Combat[-10,-30] · Crackler Shaman

   Talk to the shaman again so that he follows you. Enter the cave, go up the stairs and talk to him again: a fight starts against 2 Sacrificed Sentinels. Same rule: the shaman must survive.

5. 5Protect the shaman in the depths

   Combat[-10,-30] · Crackler Shaman

   Talk to the shaman again, go back down the stairs, then take the second set down, and talk to him again: a fight starts against 4 Sacrificed Sentinels. The shaman must always survive.

6. 6Defeat the Ancestral Crackler

   Combat[-10,-30] · Ancestral Crackler

   Talk to the shaman again to complete the ritual: an Ancestral Crackler appears. Talk to it: a fight starts, which can be done in a group.

7. 7Bring the heart back to the Iop Priest

   Items · God Iop

   Go back to the Realm of the Gods, via the statue in your class temple, and announce your success to the Iop Priest. The God Iop appears: talk to him so that he makes the crackler's heart beat again. The relic will protect you going forward. The quest ends.
