   A mission that must not be spread around: Hyrkul's underpants, a relic of the Crimson Dawn, have been stolen from the palace. The Huppermage magic that protected it seems to have malfunctioned at the time of the theft.

   At the palace, go straight to the throne room. The magical guardian has been deactivated, something only the king and a few Huppermages can do: the culprit is probably one of them.

   

3. 3Talk to Ture Inge

   At the militia, go up to the upper floor and take the right-hand door. To question the Huppermages under good conditions, Ture Inge wants two beers, one for himself and one for the judge.

   He has already obtained confessions: a Huppermage inadvertently revealed how to disable the security to Suria Bonily, a waitress at the Bagrutte tavern, during a private chat.

   She dreams of gathering enough kamas to skate in Frigost with the mansots. A Rogue bought the information from her for a large sum.

   The relic could resurface on the black market: he sends you to see Henry Lovenrut, a spy of the Order of the Attentive Eye. Construction work was going on at the palace during the theft: also question the site foreman.

   At the Tabasse tavern, tell him about the relic. He doesn't know anything, but asks for a little time to check with his contacts.

   At the palace, in the first room with the guards, Phil Edge-Peeple explains that three workers fell ill on the same day: he replaced them with day laborers.

    At the Tabasse tavern, he hasn't seen the three sick workers, regulars, for a week: the last time, they were feasting with strangers.

    At the Profession Information Centre, he kept the names of the day laborers, never re-registered since: Riri, Fifi and Louloute. Among them, an Ecaflip and a woman dressed for a society evening rather than a construction site.

    Nothing about the relic, but a customer stood up the seamstress Pako Rábano, who is left with an order of luxury clothes on her hands.

    You have to question the foreman, under hypnosis if necessary. He asks you to take him to Ture Inge, but first to collect a complaint from the innkeeper Feubuk.

    At the Feubuk tavern, he complains about an Ecaflip buried in gambling debts. Reassure him: you'll tell Amayiro about it. That Ecaflip could be the day laborer.

    

15. 15Convince Phil Edge-Peeple

    In front of his house, ask him to take part in a hypnosis session to learn more about the three day laborers he hired.

    Give him the description of the Ecaflip. He sends you to join Ture Inge, already in the middle of a hypnosis session with the site foreman.

    Go up to the upper floor, right-hand room. The day laborers were a Rogue, an Ecaflip and a woman who was probably from Amakna. All the workers bet with the Ecaflip during breaks, except the other two day laborers, who disappeared to prepare the burglary.

    At the underground tofu fighting hall, go into the house at the top right and go down to the cellar. Reuth Rezed knows the Ecaflip well, who has also racked up big debts here.

    At the palace, go straight to the throne room, then into the room on the right, Danathor's. The treasurer agrees to arrange a meeting with the Ecaflip's creditors, as long as it doesn't harm their relations with the steward Danathor.

    Ares Truer's location seems to vary with the time of day: he is sometimes with Reuth Rezed in the cellar of the underground fights, in [-34,-55] (perhaps from 19h to midnight), and the rest of the time with Danathor at the palace.

20. 20Question a Suspicious Bontarian

    At the meeting place, one of the Suspicious Bontarians reveals that the woman in the trio was a Feca. They were waiting for the three cronies at the palace exit to demand the debt: they didn't come out with the workers, but much later, through the east door.

    Give a full report on the three suspects: it is now up to the militiamen outside the walls to track them down. The quest ends; keep the conversation going to receive the next mission.

No. This mission is an investigation: you just have to question the NPCs in order.
