What to prepare

Nothing to gather: the cat eyes are obtained by fighting a Catsquatch, a Catichan and a Calleyat, each on a specific map.

1. 1Talk to Shakespurr

   Dialogue[2,2] · Shakespurr

   Shakespurr is suffering from felinthropy and no longer belongs at Allister's castle. He asks you to help him find a cure.

2. 2Ask Professor Groschinder for information

   Dialogue[-1,-6] · Professor Groschinder

   At the outpost, tell the professor about felinthropy. He thinks this illness is not contagious: you need to imbue with luck the eyes of various werecats, then summon Charingan's spirit so that he gazes into them.

3. 3Imbue the Pouncer's eye

   [2,2] · Shakespurr

   Shakespurr refuses to give you his eye, but gives you his neighbor's. Then click the statue to imbue it with luck.

4. 4Collect and imbue three more eyes

   Combat

   On each of these maps, fight the indicated monster to get its eye, then click the statue on the same map to imbue it with luck.

   • [2,0] fight a Catichan, then click the statue
   • [0,1] fight a Calleyat, then click the statue

   You absolutely must defeat the monster shown on the indicated map.

5. 5Summon Charingan's spirit

   [1,2] · Sharinkat's Spirit

   Click the statue to make the spirit appear and talk to it about felinthropy. He agrees to gaze into the werecats' eyes, so that you leave him alone. Ush Galesh then appears and advises you to mind your own business.

6. 6Warn Groschinder and give the eyes to Fiziks

   Dialogue[-1,-6] · Fiziks

   Tell the professor that you met Ush Galesh. Then give the eyes to Fiziks, on the same map, and join the professor in the north for the experiment.

7. 7Prevent Groschinder's abduction

   [-3,-8]

   Talk to the professor, who doesn't react. Shinobite appears to carry him off in his crate: a fight starts against a group of 8 characters, with several players if you like. Ninchatõ hits for 200 Air, applies 10% erosion (15 on a critical hit) and 1 to 15 Water damage for 2 turns. Shurikiten hits for 100 Air and removes 2 AP, dodgeable. Makittenshi lays traps that hit for 60 Neutral, remove 20 Lock, 20 Flight and 2 MP, dodgeable, and apply the Gravity state for 1 turn. Ninchakat hits for 200 Earth and weakens for 1 turn. Meowtenance hits for 150 Neutral, pushes one cell and pushes the caster back one cell. Explosive Kittybag removes 200 Power or 4 range for 1 turn, or hits for 170 Fire.

8. 8Talk to Fiziks

   Dialogue[-3,-8] · Fiziks

   Shinobite warns you and leaves. The professor still doesn't notice you. Talk to Fiziks, who has just arrived: he brought an empty crate instead of the professor's. The quest ends.
