What to prepare

Nothing to buy. You need to collect three Crobak feathers along the way, and allow time for the tactical fight, which is solo.

The 13 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Miss Norris

   Dialogue[2,1] · Miss Norris

   The quest starts in Ecaflipus, with Miss Norris. Kaliste is said to have a Crobak that serves as her spy, trained by a certain Cornelia.

2. 2Talk to Cornelia Granpa

   Dialogue[-6,-10] · Cornelia Granpa

   Cornelia Granpa tells you: since Kaliste got on the wrong side of the Goddess Cra, she avoids meeting her.

3. 3Talk to Kokillette

   Dialogue[-11,-14] · Kokillette

   Enter Kokillette's place through the secret passage under the root. The only way to stop the archer from doing the irreparable by attacking the dragons: help her heal. Kaliste is said to be the daughter of the Goddess Cra, punished for believing herself stronger than her mother. To find her spy Crobak, you must turn into a Crobak, and for that gather three feathers.

4. 4Collect the three Crobak feathers

   Items

   Go to the following three places to gather the three feathers that will turn you into a Crobak.

   • [9,21] enter the Chanil and click the Crobak in the room: Chirpy Crobak Feather
   • [12,16] talk to the Scared Crobak to steal a feather: Death-Fearing Crobak Feather
   • [2,-1] in the Amakna tavern, go up the left stairs and talk to the Lucky Crobak to steal a feather: Lucky Crobak Feather

5. 5Turn into a Crobak

   Movement[-11,-14] · Kokillette

   Go back to see Kokillette and show her the three feathers. Then repeat after her three Crobak phrases: you're now transformed into a Crobak.

6. 6Question the Militia Crobaks

   Dialogue[5,-6]

   Talk to one of the Militia Crobaks to get information about Kaliste's Crobak. They send you to the assembly of the Crow's Domain.

   

7. 7Identify Kaliste's Crobak

   [-14,-62]

   In the Crow's Domain, talk to the Crobak who watches you without saying anything.

   Talking to the wrong Crobak starts a fight, doesn't advance the quest, and makes you lose your Crobak appearance: you then have to go back and ask Kokillette for it again.

   

8. 8Follow Kaliste's Crobak

   Movement[-12,-61] [-12,-58]

   Talk to the Crobak again at [-12,-61], then one last time at [-12,-58].

9. 9Find Kaliste

   Movement[-12,-58] · Kaliste

   Enter the ruined crypt and offer your help to Kaliste. The Goddess Cra suddenly appears: talk to her. She doesn't like that you want to help her daughter, but decides to give you a chance.

   

10. 10Take up the Goddess Cra's challenge

    Dialogue[-12,-58] · Goddess Cra

    You are teleported to another map: talk to the Goddess Cra again. Her challenge: defeat the dark eye that makes her daughter blind. If you fail, Kaliste will remain blind for eternity.

11. 11Defeat Cra's Curse

    Combat[-12,-58]

    A tactical fight starts, to be done solo, with 10 HP, 10 AP and 6 MP. The map is covered with Water, Air, Fire and Earth elementals; the last row, facing the boss, is on a red glyph. You receive two spells. Elemental Control costs you 1 HP, gives you 1 range with no end, and swaps the targeted elemental with the one facing the boss on the red line; it is cast in a line, at 2 range at the start. Elemental Arrow activates a sequence of elementals and heals you for 5 HP if it succeeds. To win, form and then trigger 4 sequences, one per element: elementals of the same element following one another, in a line or diagonally, from your character to the red line.

    A triggered sequence becomes neutral. An active targeted elemental can swap with a neutral one on the red line, but not the reverse: targeting a neutral elemental does nothing and costs you 1 HP.

12. 12Make the goddess keep her promise

    After the fight, talk to the Goddess Cra again. Then talk to Kaliste to see how she's doing and receive her thanks.

13. 13Go back to see Meriana

    Dialogue[-6,-3] · Meriana

    Go back to Meriana, at the end of her path, and tell her that the threat hanging over the dragons has been removed. The quest ends, and the achievement with it.

With Miss Norris, in the Hairy Moor of Ecaflipus at [2,1]. You must have completed Mississitudes.

Where to find the three Crobak feathers?

At the Chanil at [9,21], at [12,16] and in the Amakna tavern at [2,-1]. Click the Crobak in the Chanil, then steal a feather from the Scared Crobak and the Lucky Crobak, upstairs in the tavern.
