The 16 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Amayiro

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Amayiro

   The quest starts at the Militia, with Amayiro. He sent militiamen to retrieve three of the Araknas stones: you must find the fourth. To locate it, you need a Wilscot diamond.

   

2. 2Question Captain Grog

   Dialogue[22,22] · Captain Grog

   Captain Grog tells you that his dealings with Lao only went one way: Lao was swindling the Sufokians, who ended up reporting him. Wanted, Lao fled to Srambad.

3. 3Find Lao again in Srambad

   [5,2] · Lao

   Find the Portal to the Srambad dimension and use it, then go to the Torturer's Tavern and talk to Lao about Wilscot's diamond. He is willing to give it to you if you bring him the ashes of the Grimacing King.

4. 4Talk to Becky Stein

   Dialogue[-35,-57] · Becky Stein

   She tells you that the Grimacing King was King Leorictus, killed by his own people. A Sram interested in the conversation then appears.

   

5. 5Buy the recipe from Jerry Forj

   Jerry Forj admits he listened to your conversation and wants to help you: he sells you the recipe for the crypt key of King Leorictus.

6. 6Craft the crypt key

   Crafting[6,-21] · Sirea

   Buy the Bluebells from Sirea for 1,000 kamas, then craft King Leorictus's Crypt Key with 1 Pyrute, 1 Aquamarine, 15 Mandrake and 1 Bluebells. You need a Handyman of level 184 minimum.

7. 7Defeat the Grave

   Combat[-18,-59] · Grave

   Go to the crypt's location and click the building on the right to enter. Talk to the Grave: it warns you that the room is trapped, and a fight starts, solo.

   Everyone except you is invulnerable. To win, end your turn in melee with each of the 4 Steles, at least once each. Plan for vitality.

8. 8Search the king's crypt

   [-18,-59]

   Cross the first room to enter the second. Click the skeleton sitting against the coffin: you get the Arachnee Elixir Recipe and an already crafted Arachnee Elixir. Then click the coffin itself to take the urn.

9. 9Bring the urn back to Lao

   Items[5,2] · Lao

   Go back to Srambad, to the Torturer's Tavern, and show Lao the urn containing the ashes of the Grimacing King. He hands you Wilscot's diamond in exchange and invites you to have a drink. You've been had: you wake up far from Srambad.

10. 10Talk to Dylan Leeth

    Dialogue[-5,-15] · Dylan Leeth

    Dylan Leeth is in front of you: he tells you he is a prisoner of the Lengs.

    

11. 11Talk to Leng

    Dialogue[-5,-15] · Leng

    Leng tells you that you are on the sacrifice list: he was told you wanted to steal his stone. He supposedly owns one of the Araknas Stones and worships the goddess Araknas.

12. 12Turn into an Arachnee

    Movement[-5,-15]

    Use the Arachnee Elixir: you become an Arachnee, with only three spells. Sneak through the small hole behind the Leng. Arachnee Bite strikes for 2 in melee, or fully heals you if you eat an egg; Summoning of Arachnee Egg places a 6 HP egg on an adjacent cell; Little Race gives 2 MP and the Unlockable state, cooldown of 4 turns.

13. 13Escape the Arachnees

    First tactical fight, solo: you are a small Arachnee with 13 HP, 3 AP and 2 MP facing big Arachnees. Cross the horde to the blue cell. Placements are fixed and the monsters always react the same way: two turn-by-turn methods are given in the FAQ.

    A defeat does not cost energy. To try again, go back to [-5,-15] with 1 Arachnee Elixir and talk to Leng's man. The elixir is crafted at an Alchemist of level 184 minimum: 1 Big Phial, 1 Arachnee Leg, 1 Arak-hai Gland and 1 Drinking Water.

14. 14Escape Leng's men

    Combat[-5,-15]

    Second tactical fight, with the same spells: cross the horde and reach one of the blue cells at the top of the map. On one of the two brown glyphs, you stay invulnerable. The potions summoned by the monsters surround their cells with a white glyph that only hits lightly.

    Each monster places a purple glyph on adjacent cells: passing through it or starting your turn on it kills you in one hit. Under Little Race, you can cross it safely.

15. 15Steal the stone

    Once the fight is over, pick up the Araknas Sacred Stone, placed on a pedestal in the center of the room.

Follow these 10 turns to the letter. Turn 1: 2 cells to the right, an egg in front of you. Turn 2: Little Race, 4 cells as far right as possible. Turn 3: 2 cells diagonally. Turn 4: 2 cells to the right. Turn 5: 1 cell to the right, you break free from a monster's Lock. Turn 6: Little Race, 4 cells up. Turn 7: an egg behind you, 2 cells up. Turns 8 and 9: 2 cells diagonally to the left. Turn 10: Little Race, finish on the blue glyph.

Is there another method for the first fight?

Yes, in 11 turns. Turn 1: Little Race, 4 cells. Turn 2: 2 cells diagonally, an egg above you. Turn 3: 2 cells diagonally. Turn 4: 2 cells to the right, the Arapex gets pulled toward you. Turn 5: Little Race, 4 cells up into the corner. Turn 6: stay and hit the Arapex. Turn 7: finish off the Arapex, 2 cells diagonally. Turn 8: 2 cells, an egg on the left. Turn 9: eat the egg, 1 cell only. Turn 10: Little Race, 4 cells to in front of the blue cell. Turn 11: 1 cell onto the blue cell. The AI can make it fail on turn 7, if a Gargantula is stuck to the Arapex.

Which method for the second fight as an Arachnee?

Five turns are enough. Turn 1: 2 cells, an egg in front of you. Turn 2: 2 cells diagonally to the left. Turn 3: another 2 cells diagonally to the left, onto the invulnerability cell; eliminate the potion on your right if there is one. Turn 4: eliminate that potion if needed, then 2 cells diagonally to the left. Turn 5: Little Race, 4 cells straight ahead. Then go up calmly: Leng's men no longer catch you.

What if I lose a fight as an Arachnee?

Go back to [-5,-15] with an Arachnee Elixir and talk to Leng's man. Defeat costs no energy; the elixir is crafted at an Alchemist of level 184 using the recipe found in the crypt.
