The 7 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Amayiro

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Amayiro

   The quest starts at the Bonta militia. A militia colonel was turned into a Treechnid during a trip: he must be found and brought back to the Bonta mages' tower.

   

2. 2Get through the mine maze

   Movement[-4,-12]

   At the Edge of the Treechnid Forest, enter the mine and climb the ladder. On each of the 5 maps, only one hole leads to the next map; the others make you fall into an arachnee cave and take you back to the start of the mine. On the sixth map, there is no hole anymore: move toward the map on the right.

   The right holes, in order: 1. at the roots of the big tree on the right, the rightmost one at the bottom; 2. at the roots of the big tree on the right, the rightmost one; 3. above the first branch of the big tree on the right, the rightmost one; 4. just above the ladder, the leftmost one; 5. behind the trunk lying on the ground, in the center.

   

3. 3Find Colonel Lyeno

   [-4,-12] · Colonel Lyeno

   Talk to Colonel Lyeno and agree to help him. Goblins block your way.

4. 4Defeat the Goblins

   Combat[-4,-12] · Goblin

   Talk to the Goblin at the far left of the map to attack him and his friends. The fight can be done with a group.

   Colonel Lyeno must not die during this fight.

5. 5Retrieve the colonel

   Items[-4,-12] · Goblin

   After the victory, talk to the Goblin again: the goblins give up. Colonel Lyeno becomes your follower and Lyeno's Badge arrives in your quest inventory.

6. 6Have Larry Poller lift Lyeno's curse

   [-34,-58] · Larry Poller

   Bring the colonel back to Larry Poller, who lifts the Treechnid's curse.

   

7. 7Introduce Lyeno to Amayiro

   Dialogue[-32,-57] · Amayiro

   Bring Colonel Lyeno, in human form, back to Amayiro. The quest ends.
