The 14 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Diashin Darkeyes

   Dialogue[5,-2] · Diashin Darkeyes

   Diashin Darkeyes is on a hidden map: on the previous map, click the blue fire lid at the bottom left. Offer to do her a favor: she tasks you with making Adele disappear, who is harming her boss.

2. 2Try to assassinate Adele

   [2,6] · Adele

   Talk to Adele and try to assassinate her. Impossible: she is already dead. She spends her time spying for a nice sum of kamas.

3. 3Go back to see Diashin Darkeyes

   Dialogue[5,-2] · Diashin Darkeyes

   Tell Diashin about the target's spectral state. She already knows: she wants you to kill death itself.

4. 4Consult Miss Eloc

   [8,3] · Miss Eloc

   Explain your problem to Miss Eloc: what is dead can be killed with ashes and a ritual. Go and harvest various ashes in the Catacumbras.

5. 5Harvest the four funeral ashes

   Collect

   Go to four Catacumbras maps to pick up an ash on each.

6. 6Obtain the incantation

   Items[8,3] · Miss Eloc

   Show the ashes to Miss Eloc, then give her a kiss: she gives you the formula of the incantation meant to kill Adele.

7. 7Try the ritual on Adele

   [2,6] · Adele

   Surround Adele with the ashes and recite the incantation. It doesn't work.

8. 8Announce the failure to Miss Eloc

   Dialogue[8,3] · Miss Eloc

   Miss Eloc advises you to kill the specter with a special weapon.

9. 9Meet Egh the Necromancer

   Dialogue[4,8] · Egh the Necromancer

   Enter through the sewer manhole, then click the crate on the right to open a secret passage. Explain your specter problem to the Necromancer: he needs bones from murdered corpses and a spectral elixir.

10. 10Pick up the three bones

    Combat

    Click the bone on each of the three maps.

    With each bone, you have a one in two chance of being attacked by a Chafer Harry, to be fought alone.

11. 11Obtain the spectral elixir

    Ask Ellie Ksire how much she would sell a spectral elixir for. She has one in stock and gives it to you: it is cursed, and she could only pass it on to a person who asks for it.

12. 12Have the daggers made

    [4,8] · Egh the Necromancer

    Show the ingredients to Egh: he makes you daggers capable of killing a dead being, usable only once.

13. 13Finish off Adele

    [2,6] · Adele

    Explain to Adele what you plan to do to her. She is not afraid of death: it would be more of a release.

14. 14Announce Adele's death

    Dialogue[5,-2] · Diashin Darkeyes

    Go back to see Diashin Darkeyes and announce Adele's death to her. She thanks you: the quest ends.
