The 11 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Ovee Haych

   Dialogue[15,-57] · Ovee Haych

   The quest starts in the Sandloon, with Ovee Haych. The former innkeeper, Bab Morone, has disappeared: he started chasing the White Shadow, a creature in the area.

   

2. 2Question the Pioneer and the Fisherman

   Dialogue

   Start the investigation by questioning the locals.

   • [15,-56] the Ohwymi Pioneer heard the cries of a beast and discovered its footprints
   • [14,-55] the Ohwymi Fisherman had his stall ransacked by a beast, while his back was turned

   

   

3. 3Talk to Ave Centura

   Dialogue[14,-57] · Ave Centura

   Tell him about the monster: it is called the White Shadow.

   

4. 4Meet Ave Centura at the town exit

   [17,-58] · Ave Centura

   Ave Centura sends you to follow the creature's trail.

   

5. 5Follow the trace

   Find three clues, in order.

   • [16,-59] click the tuft of grass
   • [16,-60] click the tree
   • [15,-60] enter the cave

   Be quick: if you take too long to click the clues, you have to go back to Ave Centura to restart the hunt.

   

   

6. 6Search the cave

   [15,-60] · Ave Centura

   In the cave, Ave asks you to explore it: click the big bone at the back. Bab Morone appears: he has been tracking the beast since his disappearance. Talk to Ave again, who decides to set a trap for the creature.

   

7. 7Collect a Fishticky

   Items[14,-55]

   Take a stale fish from the crate behind the Ohwymi Fisherman.

8. 8Bring the bait to Ave Centura

   Items[15,-60] · Ave Centura

   Bring the fish back to Ave Centura, in the cave.

9. 9Defeat the White Shadow

   Combat[15,-60] · The White Shadow

   Place the bait at the foot of the small bone in the cavern, then talk to the White Shadow that has just appeared. A fight starts, and it can be done in a group.

10. 10Talk to Ave Centura and Bab Morone

    Dialogue[15,-60] · Bab Morone

    Talk to Ave Centura again, who will keep looking for new mysterious creatures, then to Bab Morone, who admits he does not belong in the creature hunt.

11. 11Go back to see Ovee Haych

    Dialogue[15,-57] · Ovee Haych

    Tell him that Bab is fine and is entrusting the tavern to him. The quest ends.
