What to prepare

Nothing to gather: the quest takes place entirely in Astrub, with a single fight, to be done alone with the guard Bow Wow.

The 13 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Gasdaure

   Dialogue[1,-17] · Gasdaure

   The Chocochip Festival honors the god Enutrof, who supposedly found a chocolate nugget in an old piece of bread. Since then, bakers hand out chocolate bread for free. Gasdaure asks you to check that the preparations are going well.

2. 2Talk to Chipo Atufe in the underground passage

   Dialogue[2,-18] · Chipo Atufe

   Enter the underground passage, whose entrance is on Gasdaure's map. Chipo Atufe was supposed to get a discount of at least 15% on drinks, but only got 8.5%.

   

3. 3Renegotiate with Hardy Barggin

   [3,-19] · Hardy Barggin

   At the Consumables Auction House, throw a tantrum in front of Hardy Barggin to renegotiate the price of the drinks.

   

4. 4Announce the discount to Chipo Atufe

   Dialogue[2,-18] · Chipo Atufe

   Go back to the underground passage to tell Chipo Atufe that you got a 15% discount on drinks.

5. 5Meet Father Ben Chwarma

   Dialogue[0,-13] · Father Ben Chwarma

   At the cemetery, Father Ben Chwarma digs up the dead to recover the wood from their coffins, which will be used as tables and chairs. He asks you to deliver the wood he has already recovered.

   

6. 6Deliver the crate of wood

   Items

   Click on the 3 small crates on the right side of the map to pick up the crate of wood, then bring it to Sylvia Brekin.

7. 7Visit Grandmother

   [7,-19] · Grandmother

   Grandmother tells you why the festival is so eagerly awaited: a golden nugget is hidden in the dough of one of the chocolate breads.

   

8. 8Check in with Gasdaure

   Dialogue[1,-17] · Gasdaure

   Impressed, Gasdaure entrusts the negotiations to Chipo every year. She sends you to check the merchandise stored in the market square, guarded by a fierce Bow Wow.

9. 9Check the merchandise

   [2,-18] · Guard Bow Wow

   Click on the wooden crate in the center of the map: the merchandise is gone. Talk to the Guard Bow Wow so it tracks the thief.

10. 10Follow the guard Bow Wow

    Movement[3,-18] [3,-17] [5,-17]

    Follow the Bow Wow from map to map, all the way to [5,-17] : it stops in front of a person. Talk to them again when you arrive.

11. 11Defeat 3 Thieves

    Daph Ilth, the thief, asks you to act as if you had seen nothing. Notice the figures approaching: the fight is alone with the Bow Wow, against 3 Thieves.

12. 12Talk to Daph Ilth again

    She stole the crates to feed her cousins, ruined by the arrival of the Kanigs. Offer to feed them soup if they work for Gasdaure: she agrees to return the crates.

13. 13Go back to Gasdaure

    Gasdaure is delighted to get an almost free workforce. The quest ends.
