The 9 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Raccooper

   Dialogue[40,-84] · Raccooper

   Raccooper wants to get his hands on those responsible for sabotaging the dam. He sends you to look for clues on the Albuera heights.

   

2. 2Examine the Albuera Heights

   [37,-84]

   Head to the Albuera Heights and look for clues of a possible secret passage: examine the sandwich lying on the ground, next to the first log-shaped step. At that moment, you hear someone approaching.

   

3. 3Hide behind the rock

   Movement[37,-84]

   Hide behind the rock where a crowbar is perched, on the right. Stand exactly on the cell of the skeleton's skull.

4. 4Spy on and follow Bjardi Nysall

   [37,-84] · Bjardi Nysall

   Spy on Bjardi Nysall, who has just appeared: he checks that nobody is watching him, then takes a secret passage between two rocks. Follow him by clicking the huge rock on the left of the map.

5. 5Listen in on the secret meeting

   Dialogue[37,-84] · Aster Bou

   In the secret room, the dam workers are gathered. Quietly listen to Aster Bou, who is leading the meeting of the Partisans for the Plotted Obliteration of Savages, the P.P.O.S.: they are the ones who sabotaged the dam, to wipe out the forest animals.

6. 6Defeat the P.P.O.S.

   Combat[37,-84]

   Suddenly, you are spotted: Aster Bou orders his accomplices to stop you from leaving. A fight starts, and it can be done with other players.

7. 7Talk to Aster Bou again

   Dialogue[37,-84] · Aster Bou

   After the fight, Aster Bou is outraged that you and a mere turtle managed to defeat them. The other dialogue choice works too.

   1. “Retort that you have tamed far tougher opponents than his bunch of ragamuffins”

8. 8Listen to Bentlaittuce

   Dialogue[37,-84] · Bentlaittuce

   Rather than hand the saboteurs over to Thorbjarn, Bentlaittuce offers to let him and the forest animals make them disappear. Aster Bou would rather face Thorbjarn's wrath than die at the hands of the animals he hates so much. Then talk to Aster Bou again and tie up the traitors.

9. 9Deliver Aster Bou to Thorbjarn

   Items[36,-77] · Thorbjarn

   Tell Thorbjarn everything you have learned. He has trouble believing you, and Aster Bou plays the victim by accusing the rebels of the Timberland. Thorbjarn finally listens to your version, then Bentlaittuce pleads on Raccooper's behalf and suggests an agreement. Listen to Thorbjarn, who promises to reduce hunting of the forest animals, then to Bentlaittuce, delighted. Finally, talk to Thorbjarn: you now have your place in the community, and the quest ends.
