What to prepare

Nothing to buy: everything is obtained during the quest. You need to defeat Grossewer Rats until you get the Battered Page.

The 10 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Wawitna

   Dialogue[24,-4] · Wawitna

   Wawitna, a pacifist wabbit, is looking for a very ancient manuscript that all the wabbits wanted to find again before becoming so hostile. A treasure hunter brought him a page of it, then disappeared.

2. 2Follow Zoufia Boirbenar's trail

   Movement[7,-4]

   The treasure hunter, Zoufia Boirbenar, came through here: enter the Astrub underground passages at [7,-4] and follow the path to [6,-6].

3. 3Collect the Battered Page

   Combat[6,-6]

   Fight Grossewer Rats in the sewers: they can drop a Battered Page, at 25% base. There is no need to stay on the last map, any Grossewer Rat in the sewers will do.

4. 4Show the page to Wawitna

   Items[24,-4] · Wawitna

   The page probably comes from the manuscript, but it is written in mowse, a language invented by the wabbit warlords. Wawitna cannot read it and sends you to someone who can.

5. 5Have the page translated by Wogew the Hewmit

   Dialogue[-1,-39] · Wogew the Hewmit

   A hidden map starts from the top left of [-1,-39] : take it, then go down the ladder. Offer the juice to Wogew: he translates “This book belongs to Gotdat, resident of the great warren of Amakna.” Gotdat was highly respected, and the great warren lies beneath Amakna.

6. 6Go down into the Great Warren of Amakna

   Movement[7,16]

   Click at the base of the stone wabbit statue to go down into the burrow, go through the wabbit door, then click the big wabbit statue at the back of the room.

7. 7Wake up Gotdat

   Combat[7,16]

   Double-click the Cwunchy Cawwot given by Wogew. The Famished Wabbit Spiwit appears and attacks you for the cawwot.

8. 8Talk to Gotdat's Spiwit

   Dialogue[7,16] · Gotdat's Spirit

   He only attacked you for the cawwot. The page really does come from his manuscript: a prophecy would guide the wabbits to a place never trodden by humans, where nature is abundant. The work would be unique.

9. 9Get the books from Prent

   Items[7,-19] · Prent

   In the northeast district of Astrub, Prent tells you that the book was printed in several copies for a wealthy client, and wants to sell it to you. Remind him of your past help: he gives you a crate of books.

   2. “Remind him that you helped him with his engraving problem”

10. 10Bring the Crate of Books back to Wawitna

    Items[24,-4] · Wawitna

    Wawitna is impressed by the number of books: he will give them to his fellows so that they get back on the right path. The quest ends.
