   Oto Mustam wants to know more about Xephires. While other recruits investigate, you must gather information from the innkeepers of Bonta.

   

2. 2Interrogate the innkeepers of Bonta

   Dialogue

   Make the rounds of the taverns in Bonta. Only Agatha Atyusirvis knows Xephires: she points you to the tailor Paro Cabanne.

   The seamstress often makes costumes for Xephires, without knowing where he lives. She sends you to see Marge Gondersun, who worked for him.

   Dialogue[-33,-55] · Marge Gondersun

   At the jewelers' workshop, the jeweler tells you that Xephires's business was going badly, but that after some not-so-clear dealings, he no longer had money troubles and took on an important place in Bontarian society.

   

5. 5Report to Oto Mustam

   [-25,33] · Oto Mustam

   A colleague found a Sram who worked with Xephires, in the Treechnid forest. Take over from him.

   

6. 6Find Exoram in the Dark Forest

   Movement[-11,-12] · Exoram

   Exoram hides behind a tree: turn on “show characters transparently” to see him. He'll talk about Xephires if you check that his way back, to the north, is safe.

   

7. 7Clear the path to the north

   [-11,-16]

   Head to the north of the forest: a fight starts automatically when you arrive on the map, doable as a group. The monsters hit lightly: Javelin, 20 Neutral at range, and Sneaky Impact, 10 Earth with a push of 4 cells.

   

8. 8Inspect Exoram's grove

   [-11,-12]

   Go back to the grove and click on it. Exoram has disappeared: signs of a struggle and karne remains suggest he was captured or killed.

   

9. 9Report the disappearance to Oto Mustam

   Dialogue[-25,33] · Oto Mustam

   Oto calls you useless, and a rather strange conversation follows. The quest ends.

Is the quest fight difficult?

No. It starts on its own at [-11,-16] and can be done as a group: the monsters hit for 10 to 20.
