What to prepare

You must be able to do Count Harebourg's dungeon, and wear your diving suit to enter the Geoforges. The three gifts for the Norrai and the watch are already in your quest inventory, thanks to the previous quests.

The 14 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Nileza

   Dialogue[-59,-74] · Nileza

   Nileza needs the Water Clock liquid that has been in contact with the Ice Dofus, at the top of the tower. He will make a flask able to withstand thermal shock, but first he needs the temperature at the base of the tower and in front of the dungeon entrance.

   

2. 2Take the temperature readings

   Enter the Water Clock Tower and take the temperature on the two dials.

3. 3Show the readings to Nileza

   Ask Andre to meet Nileza, then show him your readings. While he makes the flask, he sends you to fetch a piece of Taroudium from Hazieff, to heat the ice.

   

4. 4Ask Hazieff Taroun for Taroudium

   Dialogue[-61,-81] · Hazieff Taroun

   Wear your diving suit and enter the Geoforges. Ask for Taroudium on Nileza's behalf: Hazieff has none left, but he points you to a deposit and gives you the tool to extract it.

5. 5Extract a Block of Taroudium

   [-64,-55] · Waldos FieldChester Potcobble

   On the frozen lake, talk to Waldos to go down into the depths. Equip the Vibrating Pick as a weapon, then click on the Taroudium deposit.

   You must have completed Light on Shadow. If the deposit isn't clickable, leave and re-enter the room, then unequip and re-equip the pick.

6. 6Have the Taroudium enriched

   Show the block to Hazieff Taroun: he puts it in the fire of Mount Torrideau and gives it back to you enriched.

7. 7Get Nileza's flask

   Items[-59,-74] · Nileza

   Show the Enriched Taroudium to Nileza. He gives you the flask, but the Count has protected the big needle with a spell: to defeat him, ask the three Norrai for help.

8. 8Ask the three Norrai for help

   Dialogue[-76,-80]

   Talk to the Guardian of Destiny to enter. Ask Skuldmort to neutralize the Count's magic: the Norrai want three gifts, already in your inventory. Tell Urdnona about your fight and give her her present, then ask Decimandi how to foil the spell: give her the watch so she can enchant it.

   The protection spell only falls if the Count takes the watch in his own hands.

9. 9Defeat Count Harebourg

   Combat[-59,-89]

   Count Harebourg is the boss of the Count Harebourg's Dungeon, at the top of the tower. Defeat him in a single fight.

10. 10Give the watch to the Count

    Items[-59,-89] · Count Harebourg

    After the victory, talk to the Count and give him the watch: nostalgic, he recognizes his creation. Take it back right away: it is running again.

11. 11Fill the flask

    Click on the Ice Dofus pedestal to take the liquid from the Water Clock.

12. 12Question Count Harebourg

    Dialogue[-59,-89] · Count Harebourg

    Talk to the Count again to learn more about the glaciation. He thinks you want to steal his Ice Dofus. Djaul and Jiva then make their entrance.

13. 13Talk to Djaul

    Dialogue[-59,-89] · Djaul

    Bow down before Djaul, who thanks you with a friendly punch. Then question him about the curse and about the origins of the eternal winter: defeated by Jiva, he froze the island to celebrate his revenge, and claims to be the victim of a plot between Jiva and the Count. Answer him with one of the three phrases offered: all of them complete the quest.

    The punch gives a bonus for 30 fights: 50 Power and 15 damage for a Brakmarian, 6% resistance and 12 fixed resistances for a Bontarian.

14. 14Talk to Jiva

    Dialogue[-59,-89] · Jiva

    Bow down before Jiva, then listen to her version: she had entrusted the Ice Dofus to the Count to protect Frigost from Djaul, and let him win to save Ulgrude. Answer with one of the three options: the quest ends whichever you choose.
