The 13 quest steps

1. 1Meet the Goblin Prent

   The quest starts with Prent, a very cultured Goblin who loves to read. He advises you to buy a collection of engravings illustrating one of the latest works of Herdegrize the Mystique.

2. 2Buy the collection of engravings

   Give 50 kamas to Virgil Onamaz so that he sells you the collection. The Legend of Jeff Stobbs arrives in your quest inventory.

3. 3Flip through the book

   Dialogue

   Open The Legend of Jeff Stobbs from your quest inventory and turn the pages all the way to the last one. The book is empty: click the choice that then appears.

   Prent is acting in good faith: he thinks that his ink seller palmed off poor-quality ink on him.

5. 5Question the ink seller

   Dialogue[3,-21] · Cirle Drawde

   Cirle Drawde apologizes: he mixed up two orders, and delivered Prent an ink that turns invisible. His other customer may hold it against him.

6. 6Enter the other customer's place

   Movement[5,-15] · Astrubian Mercenary

   The building is guarded. Talk to the Astrubian Mercenary: for 50 kamas, he gives you a pass to get in. It can only be bought once.

7. 7Apologize to Odetta Nait

   Inside, give Odetta Nait Cirle Drawde's apologies. The mistake nearly ruined her plan: to forgive him, she wants someone to teach the forest bandits a lesson.

8. 8Defeat 6 Bestdressed Bandits

   Combat[-2,-21] [-1,-21]

   Meet at [-2,-21] then at [-1,-21] and talk to a Bestdressed Bandit to attack. Each fight pits you against 3 Bestdressed Bandits: you therefore have to win one fight on each of the two maps.

   Tell him he is no longer on Odetta Nait's blacklist. He has found a recipe able to make Prent's ink visible, but he is missing ingredients: 5 Gobball Wool, 3 Sticky Filings and 5 Milirat Droppings.

   

10. 10Harvest 3 Sticky Filings

    Collect

    Sticky Filings are collected from Piles of Filings, at three specific spots in the Astrub quarry. Talk to each of them to harvest the filings.

    • [10,-20] draw the filings from the Pile of Filings

    Dialogue

    1. “Ignore the warning”

    The first Pile of Filings you talk to, whichever it is, always starts a fight. It can be done with several characters. Once the monsters are defeated, talk to the same Pile of Filings again: only then do you get the filings.

11. 11Collect 5 Milirat Droppings

    Combat[5,-17]

    Go down into the Astrub sewers, whose entrance is at [5,-17], and defeat 5 Strubian Milirats. The Milirat Droppings drop automatically: they are a quest resource.

12. 12Have the Revealing Powder made

    Give the ingredients to Cirle Drawde: he makes a Revealing Powder out of them, able to make the ink reappear.
