Nothing to gather: two fights against Supercharged Mantazes, which can be done in a group. The Mauve Crystal drops during the second one.

The 7 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Mel Well

   Dialogue[22,28] · Mel Well

   Mel Well has problems that are disrupting the excavations. Go outside to find out more from Ankgear Marine.

2. 2Talk to Ankgear Marine

   Dialogue[22,28] · Ankgear Marine

   Tell Ankgear Marine that you come on Prosper's behalf. You have to patrol near the installations and fight the mantazes you come across, on four maps.

3. 3Inspect the fittings

   Combat

   Go around the four maps. The fight at [22,26] gives you a Mauve Crystal.

   • [23,28] click on the installation
   • [23,27] fight the Supercharged Mantaze
   • [22,27] click on the installation
   • [22,26] fight the Supercharged Mantaze

   Each Supercharged Mantaze must be defeated on its own map, in a single fight. Its appearance is sometimes glitched in game.

4. 4Report to Ankgear Marine

   [22,28] · Ankgear Marine

   Tell her the inspection went well and show her the crystal: she advises you to show it to Pink Tada.

5. 5Show the crystal to Pink Tada

   Items[23,24] · Pink Tada

   Go back up to the surface and show the stone to Pink Tada. It looks like a resonance crystal: she sends you to see Deks.

   

6. 6Lend the crystal to Deks

   [23,24] · Deks

   Show the stone to Deks, then hand it over to him so he can examine it: it is slightly different from the Frigost gems. Agree to lend it to him so he can study it better.

7. 7Go back to see Ankgear Marine

   Dialogue[22,28] · Ankgear Marine

   Tell Marine that a solution to her problems can be found thanks to the crystal. The quest ends.
