What to prepare

Nothing to buy. Plan for one fight to do alone, fights against a Crackler, a Macian, a Neye and Mush Mish, and dialogue answers that vary depending on your class and gender.

The 13 quest steps

1. 1Receive your mission from Oto Mustam

   Dialogue[-25,33] · Oto Mustam

   At the Brakmar militia, Oto Mustam tells you he delivered you as merchandise to a very high-ranking figure. Go to the Tower of Gisgoul and find the secret passage leading to your new master.

   

2. 2Defeat the Bontarians at the altar

   Combat[-16,17]

   At Gisgoul, go to the Tower of Gisgoul Altar. In front of the altar, talk to the Bontarian and attack him: the fight pits you against two Bontarian Investigators.

3. 3Take the secret passage

   [-16,17] · Esra'Ruoy'Dnim

   After the fight, click on the skull-shaped slab and cross the secret room: you come across Esra'Ruoy'Dnim. He promises to put in a word for you with Rushu if you do good work: find him servants, then deliver a letter to a certain Aspic.

   The Gisgoul Potion takes you straight back to the tower, but it can only be used once. You usually get another one when you report the quest back to Uk.

4. 4Look for volunteers

   Movement[-25,33] [-23,39]

   At the Brakmar militia, Oto Mustam advises you to look for volunteers among your comrades. At the Brakmar harbor, at [-23,39], Warrior Nager Nacmeil tells you that no demon will agree to work there of its own free will, unless its master forces it to.

5. 5Consult the Tower of Brakmar's mages

   [-22,33] · Shush Tercesasti

   In the basement of the Tower of Brakmar, Shush Tercesasti gives you the list of the city's loyal followers you can enlist: Sacri Zoh, Kapp Tenn and Dayvid Blayne.

   

6. 6Recruit Sacri Zoh

   Dialogue[-22,33] · Sacri Zoh

   In the Tower of Brakmar, right-hand room on the ground floor. Answer no. 2 depends on your class: “Amid the cries of agony” for Xelor, Pandawa, Sram, Enutrof, Masqueraider, Foggernaut, Osamodas, Eliotrope, Ouginak, Huppermage and Sadida; “In an office cut off from the world” for Iop, Eniripsa, Feca, Sacrier, Cra and Ecaflip. Answer no. 3 depends on gender: “Yes, lots of bling-bling stuff” for a male character, “Yes, me and lots of bling-bling stuff” for a female character.

   The answer for the Rogue isn't known. If a condition isn't met, you don't get the contract: talk to him again and change your choices.

7. 7Recruit Kapp Tenn

   In the basement of the Brakmar militia, convince Kapp Tenn. These answers worked for a male Iop; they may vary. If the contract suits him, you get his contract.

9. 9Deliver the envelope to Aspic Farnswotte

   Enter the mine at [-23,21] and join the drill. Aspic Farnswotte reads the letter and asks you for the souls of three monsters.

10. 10Capture the souls of three monsters

    Combat

    Defeat one monster of each species in its area: a Crackler in the Crackler Mountain, a Macian in the Brumen Tinctorias's LaboRATory dungeon and a Neye in the Cemetery Crypts of Amakna. No soul stone needed: each victory gives you a guinea pig as a follower character.

11. 11Give the souls to Aspic Farnswotte

    Aspic tells you that the doctor he serves experiments on these animals. For the one on the Neye, he needs a Mush Mish Thallus.

12. 12Get a Mush Mish Thallus

    Combat

    In the Fungi Cavern, fight Mush Mish: the Mush Mish Thallus drops automatically. Then bring it to Aspic Farnswotte, in the mine whose entrance is at [-23,21].
