What to prepare

Nothing to buy: the ritual items are picked up on the spot, in any order you like. Just one fight, solo.

The 11 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Fifoux, then to Shonanhi

   Dialogue[15,-34] · Shonanhi

   First talk to Fifoux, who is very aggressive and nearly bites your finger off. Shonanhi then offers you the quest: she takes in injured creatures, and thinks Fifoux is possessed by a spirit. The guardian of the Enigmagmatic Cavern, where the shaman Tsicroxe works, would not let her in.

2. 2Convince the cave guardian

   Enter the cavern. The guardian only lets sober people through: answer his three questions. For the last one, choose Male or Female depending on your character.

3. 3Talk to Tsicroxe

   Dialogue[15,-31] · Tsicroxe

   Tell the shaman about Fifoux. To help him, he needs to know what happened before the change in behavior, and to examine the firefox.

4. 4Question Shonanhi and take Fifoux

   Dialogue[15,-34] · Shonanhi

   At Mount Foux-Chi, Shonanhi made a wish to the Fire spirit. On the way back, Fifoux played with other firefoux and caught a cold: she gave him a remedy from Hobaha Sama, and his attitude changed afterward. Talk to Fifoux so he follows you to the shaman.

   

5. 5Introduce Fifoux to Tsicroxe

   Dialogue[15,-31] · Tsicroxe

   The guardian lets you through. Tell Tsicroxe what happened and introduce Fifoux to him. He is indeed possessed: the alcohol in the remedy woke the Yokai that lives in him. To drive it out, the shaman needs specific items.

6. 6Pick up the ritual items

   Collect

   Collect 5 Ritual Candle, 1 Spark of the Fire Spirit and 1 Miraculous Water, in any order you like.

   • [17,-32] click on the big Primordial Lantern: 1 Spark of the Fire Spirit
   • [17,-30] click on the candle at the top: 1 Ritual Candle
   • [18,-30] click on the candle to the right of the door: 1 Ritual Candle
   • [16,-33] click on the candle in the center: 1 Ritual Candle
   • [17,-34] go up the stairs and click on the candle: 1 Ritual Candle
   • [21,-23] click on the reeds sticking out of the water: 1 Miraculous Water

7. 7Prepare the ritual

   [15,-31] · Tsicroxe

   Give the items to Tsicroxe. Click on the table to place the lit candles. Stand on the cell behind Fifoux and talk to him to hold him firmly, then talk to him again to pour the miraculous water on his head.

8. 8Hold Fifoux during the exorcism

   Dialogue[15,-31] · Tsicroxe

   Talk to Tsicroxe to start the incantation, and don't let go of Fifoux.

   1. “Cling to Fifoux with all your strength to immobilize him”
   2. “Struggle with all your strength to keep Fifoux from moving”
   3. “Don't think and attack the Yokai”

9. 9Defeat the Aggressive Yokai

   Combat[15,-31]

   A fight starts against the spirit that has just come out of Fifoux. It is fought solo.

10. 10Go back to Tsicroxe

    Dialogue[15,-31] · Tsicroxe

    Tell him that the Yokai has been eliminated. Fifoux is back in top shape: the shaman advises never giving him alcohol again.

11. 11Return Fifoux to Shonanhi

    [15,-34] · Shonanhi

    Bring Fifoux back to Shonanhi and pass on the shaman's recommendations about alcohol. The quest ends.
