The 8 quest steps

1. 1Open the Box of Dofus

   Dialogue[-11,-37] · Box of Dofus

   In the shop, open the Box of Dofus: it contains a message and five white Dofus. The message asks you to paint them in the colors of the Primordial Dofus, except Ivory for lack of paint, then place them in iconic spots of the World of Twelve.

2. 2Craft the paints

   Crafting

   At the tinkerers' workshop, craft the paints. Recipes, for one paint: Blue Paint, 3 Blue Metaria; Yellow Paint, 3 Yellow Metaria; Black Paint, 1 Blue Metaria, 1 Red Metaria and 1 Yellow Metaria; Orange Paint, 2 Red Metaria and 1 Yellow Metaria; Red Paint, 3 Red Metaria; Green Paint, 2 Yellow Metaria and 1 Blue Metaria; Purple Paint, 2 Blue Metaria and 1 Red Metaria.

   You need to craft 5 Yellow, 5 Black, 3 Blue, 3 Green, 2 Violet, 1 Red and 1 Orange, and your own character has to craft them: otherwise the step isn't validated.

3. 3Paint the five Dofus

   Still at the handymen's workshop, craft the fake Dofus. Each one requires 1 White Dofus and 1 Black Paint, plus: Ebony Dofus, 2 Purple Paint and 1 Yellow Paint; Emerald Dofus, 3 Green Paint; Ochre Dofus, 3 Yellow Paint; Crimson Dofus, 1 Red Paint, 1 Yellow Paint and 1 Orange Paint; Turquoise Dofus, 3 Blue Paint.

4. 4Deposit the Emerald Dofus

   Items[-5,17]

   Enter the Evil Forest, for example by [-5,13], and head to the center, to the elm clearing: you enter it from the map below. Double-click the Freshly Painted Emerald Dofus to deposit it there.

   Access to the Evil Forest requires having completed Pendulum Swinger's Guide.

5. 5Deposit the Turquoise Dofus

   Items[-3,-6]

   Enter the cave where the Dragon Pig had first made its home, then leave the Freshly Painted Turquoise Dofus there.

6. 6Deposit the Ochre Dofus

   Items[-56,4]

   On Otomai Island, go to one of the 4 slab rooms that open the Giant Kralove, for example at [-56,4] : all four work. Double-click the fake Ochre Dofus to leave it there.

7. 7Deposit the Crimson Dofus

   Items[-42,-17]

   Go to the Minotoror's island, whose access is at [-36,-10], then enter the Minotoror's labyrinth. Go to the center of the labyrinth, the thirteenth room, and leave the fake Crimson Dofus there.

8. 8Deposit the Ebony Dofus

   Items[-7,10]

   In the swamps, go to the map where Crocoburio's sword was sealed in a rock, and use the Freshly Painted Ebony Dofus to hide it. Once all five Dofus are deposited, the quest ends automatically.

Related quests

The quest completes one of the objectives of The Other Side of the Mirror, which you can then continue. It is part of the Dofus 20th anniversary event.

Where does the quest Forgotten Eggs start?

In the Ankama shop, at [-11,-37], by opening the Box of Dofus. You must have started The Other Side of the Mirror and done part of its first step.

How much Metaria do I need?

27 Yellow Metaria, 21 Blue Metaria and 12 Red Metaria. Your own character has to craft the paints, at the handymen's workshop.

Where do you leave the fake Dofus?

Emerald in [-5,17], Turquoise in [-3,-6], Ochre in [-56,4], Crimson at [-42,-17], Ebony at [-7,10]. The Emerald goes in the elm clearing, the Crimson in the center of the Minotoror maze.

I can't enter the Evil Forest, why?

You must have completed Pendulum Swinger's Guide. Without it, you can't deposit the Emerald Dofus.

Why is there no Ivory Dofus?

The factory has run out of ivory paint, according to the message in the box. Only five Dofus need to be painted.

What does the quest give?

1,706,249 XP and 25 Ankama Kama, and one completed objective of The Other Side of the Mirror.
