The 9 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Gob Ross

   Dialogue[-4,4] · Gob Ross

   At the Goblin Camp, Gob Ross is painting a canvas. He traveled a lot to paint landscapes, and learned to speak by mixing with the Twelvians. He would have done better with his favorite paintbrush, confiscated by Director Grunob when he was drawing instead of listening in class at the Akademy.

2. 2Defeat Director Grunob

   Combat[-5,3]

   Enter the Gob Akademy dungeon, at [-5,3], and defeat the boss Director Grunob.

   Before going in, you can start Might Means Right and advance it up to the step where you also have to defeat Director Grunob: a single run for both quests.

3. 3Talk to Director Grunob

   Once the dungeon is finished, the director remembers the young Gob, always drawing. He lacks teachers to look after every goblin. He lets you check the Rmouâre, where he stores everything he confiscates.

4. 4Search the Rmouâre

   [-5,3]

   In the same room, click the cabinet at the top right and search it thoroughly: you find a worn paintbrush.

5. 5Thank Director Grunob

   Talk to the director again to thank him for the paintbrush.

   1. “Thank him for the paintbrush and leave”

   If you are doing Might Means Right at the same time, do not leave the dungeon right away: take the paintbrush, then pick the other dialogue line to update that quest too.

6. 6Bring the paintbrush back to Gob Ross

   Items[-4,4] · Gob Ross

   Give Gob Ross his favorite paintbrush back, tell him the news about Grunob and suggest he teach drawing at the Akademy. He wants to think about it, but first he needs ingredients for his paints and to repair his old paintbrush: 25 Wild Mint, 10 Cashew Nut and 5 Bwork Magus Beard Hair.

7. 7Hand over the ingredients

   Items[-4,4] · Gob Ross

   Gob Ross thanks you, but a horde of hungry young goblins surrounds his canvas, thinking it is edible. He asks you to calm their appetite before they devour it.

8. 8Pacify the Gobelishous

   Combat[-4,4] · Intrigued Gobelishous

   Talk to one of the Intrigued Gobelishous: a fight starts, and it can be done with several players.

   1. “Hand out potatoes to the goblins to take away their urge to gorge on paint”

   The other goblins in the fight cast Relentless Strike (50 Earth, up to 4 range), Clumsy Impact (40 Earth and pushes back 2 cells, in a line up to 3 range), Egob Trip (40 Water life steal, up to 4 range) and Co-Belt (120 shield for 2 turns around him).

9. 9Convince Gob Ross

   Dialogue[-4,4] · Gob Ross

   Gob Ross thanks you for protecting his supplies, but is offended by your methods. Offer him again to teach at the Akademy to introduce young goblins to painting: he accepts. The quest ends.
