What to prepare

Plan for three dungeons: the Cross Strich's Aviary, then Silf the Greater Bherb and the Royal Tofu for two of the three eggs. The quest is essential for buying the Totankama's Tablet Pieces.

The 11 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Meriana

   Dialogue[-6,-3] · Meriana

   Tell Meriana that a Tofu has gotten into her hut. It is actually a human being, cursed by a taur magician. To lift the spell, she asks you for three kinds of eggs; to find out where to get them, you need to meet Vidda B. Ginwate.

   

2. 2Do the Cross Strich's Aviary

   [-10,-44]

   Head for the Cania Cirque, to find traces of Percy. Do the Cross Strich's Aviary dungeon: an NPC awaits you at the end.

3. 3Question Janseb

   Dialogue

   Once the dungeon is finished, talk to Janseb before leaving it to ask him for information about Percy. He might be a prisoner of a group of scientists hidden in a secret laboratory.

4. 4Enter the secret laboratory

   Movement[-11,-44] · Elbert Weskabb

   The secret laboratory is below the dungeon. Start a conversation with Elbert Weskabb to find out what is going on: he sends a Mutatrich after you.

   The fight can be done in a group, but the quest only updates for characters who talked to Elbert and answered that they want to escape.

   

5. 5Defeat the Mutatrich

   Combat[-11,-44]

   The Mutatrich is invulnerable: it explodes on its own when it reaches 1000 HP. Hit it to make it gain HP, 10 per attack received. The fight can be quite long.

6. 6Talk to Vidda B. Ginwate

   Dialogue[-11,-44] · Vidda B. Ginwate

   After the fight, Vidda B. Ginwate appears on the map. To thank you for your help against the evil scientist, he reveals the nature of the three eggs.

7. 7Collect the Surprising Egg

   Items[9,21]

   At the Chanil d'Amakna, click the cage to get a Surprising Egg: it is what a mutation between a Quaquack and a Piwi can produce.

8. 8Collect the Vegetable Egg

   The Vegetable Egg is obtained from Silf the Greater Bherb, boss of the Bherb's Gully dungeon.

9. 9Collect the Monarch Egg

   The last egg, the Monarch Egg, is obtained from a powerful bird: the Royal Tofu, boss of the Royal Tofu House dungeon.

10. 10Give the eggs to Meriana

    Bring the three eggs back to Meriana. She makes a nice omelette out of them, eats it, then hits the Tofu with a frying pan while reciting an incantation.

11. 11Talk to Ener Brelloq

    Dialogue[-6,-3] · Ener Brelloq

    The Tofu turns into Ener Brelloq, a treasure hunter who crossed paths with the Minotot. He has devoted his life to Totankama's mask and agrees to give you the pieces of Totankama's tablet that he found, in exchange for archaeological treasures. They can be found at the Treasure Chest, where he goes too. The quest ends.

The quest unlocks the repeatable quest Archaeological Treasure Hunt, which gives 5 Archaeological Treasure per hunt.
