The monsters of the Royal Tofu House

Eight Tofus, including seven very mobile Big Tofus of level 103 to 112, each with a clear weakness. Kill first those that heal and give AP. The resistances in red are their weaknesses.

In which order to kill the monsters

1. Tofubine, then Aggressive Tofubine — they heal their allies and give them AP with Peck-a-Cake.
2. Tofuzmo, then Ugly Tofu, then Aggressive Ugly Tofu — 12 MP: they reach everyone, remove range or steal Agility.
3. Podgy Tofu — it strengthens its allies and removes AP and Agility from you while eroding you.

Preparing your run through the Royal Tofu House

A medium-difficulty dungeon for groups of level 110 to 120, who must handle very mobile Tofus, heals and invisibility. You come here for the Royal Tofu's soul, requested by the Ochre Dofus, with a Soul Stone for Big Souls (captures up to level 150), and for the Royal Tofu Feather.

How to enter the Royal Tofu House

The entrance is at the farm workshop in Ingalsses' Fields, in Amakna, at [5,6], right next to the Gobball Corner zaap [5,7]. Talk to Kazy Ingalsse to enter, and again to leave. Three ways to open it: a Secret Royal Tofu House Key (consumed), the keyring, or the automatic group search.

Crafting the Secret Royal Tofu House Key

It's crafted at a handyman's workshop and requires a lot of Tofu resources: 10 Tofu Egg, 10 Black Tofu Eye, 10 Tofukaz Foot and 10 Mutant Tofu Tooth. Bloody Meat drops at 31% from the Big Tofus in the dungeon. Perch (fishing), Pandkin Seed and Malt (harvesting) complete the recipe.

Which team to bring against the Royal Tofu

Several elements. Weaknesses change from one Tofu to another: Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Come with at least two elements, and save Fire for the Royal Tofu, which has 58% Air resistance.

Something to reveal and remove MP. The Blastofu makes its group invisible, and the Tofuzmos and Ugly Tofus have 12 MP. Revealing invisible units and removing MP gives you a lot of comfort, and MP removal is also used for the Special achievement.

The classes that are comfortable. The Enutrof and its Pull Out, which removes all MP from all entities, is made for the Royal Pursuit achievement. Classes that reveal invisible units handle the Blastofu better, and those that hit with Fire deal with the Royal Tofu faster.

The six achievements of the Royal Tofu House

Each achievement gives 7,160,000 XP and 2 Royal Tofu Feather, Duo doubles the XP; Sidekick gives 10,740,000 XP. Special is the most technical one, the others follow the basic strategy.

Special: Royal Pursuit

Each enemy must play at least one turn without using MP before being finished off. Block each monster before finishing it off: surround it, trap it in a corner or remove its MP, for example with the Enutrof's Pull Out, which removes 100 MP from all entities in the fight. Check that it has played a full turn without moving before the killing blow, Royal Tofu included.

Last

The Royal Tofu must be finished off last. The basic strategy leads to it: the supports, then the mobile monsters, then the Royal Tofu. Avoid area spells that would finish it off too early.

Statue

Each ally must end their turn on the cell where they started it. Choose your starting cells well, because you'll play the whole fight from them. Beware of Liberating Flight, which pushes back around the Podgy Tofu: being one cell off makes the achievement fail. With 30 MP, the Royal Tofu will come to you on its own.

Duo

Two characters maximum, fewer than 20 turns. Take two characters with steady damage, able to kill the Tofubine before its heals prolong the fight. Everything must be finished by the end of turn 19.

Sidekick: Tormented Knights

Four characters minimum, including Flame, Drop, Cloud, Leaf or Darkness. The basic strategy applies. Protect the sidekick from the Tofus with 12 MP, which easily reach isolated targets.

Capturing the soul of the Royal Tofu and the Ochre Dofus

One Soul Stone for Big Souls (captures up to level 150) is enough for the Royal Tofu, who is level 120. The soul is used for the quest An Eternal Harvest of the Ochre Dofus, which asks for that of every dungeon guardian.

The Royal Tofu House as a guild Expedition

The Royal Tofu House also exists as a Guild Expedition, with a boss at 13,000 HP and entirely different mechanics:

• the Royal Tofu is invulnerable: it only loses this protection, for two turns, if it plays a turn without using any MP. Each line of melee damage removes 1 MP from the target until the end of the fight, five times per turn at most;
• surround it to block it, taking its pushes into account, then move it out of its black glyph before hitting: this glyph reduces ranged damage taken by monsters by 20% and heals them by 8%;
• on turn 2, then every two turns, all enemies gain Galiformation Royal, in a cycle: +50% damage, a shield, the Unlockable state, then a 10% heal;
• kill one or more monsters before turn 2, or protect yourself to withstand it: the damage bonus only comes back on turn 10. The monsters aren't invulnerable, kill them before the boss, with the Tofuzmos and Ugly Tofus as priority.
