The 8 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Händel Itäll

   Dialogue[38,-77] · Händel Itäll

   The trapper is sick: Händel Itäll asks you to go check his coolwolf traps in the forest.

   

2. 2Check the first two traps

   Check the first two traps: they are empty. They must be done before the third.

   • [37,-79] click the trap on the ground, at the foot of the trunk at the bottom left
   • [39,-81] check the trap at the foot of the left fir tree, in the snow

3. 3Inspect the third trap

   [37,-82]

   The trap has disappeared. Examine the claw marks on the tree in the center: an animal struggled before fleeing.

   

4. 4Follow the tracks to Raccooper

   Movement[38,-83] · Raccooper

   Follow the tracks and go down through the hidden hatch in the center of the map. Raccooper is tending to Bentlaittuce, a turtle caught in the trappers' trap, and is wary of the Douziens. Both choices offered work.

   Dialogue

   1. “Say that you understand his resentment, that the situation must change in the interest of both sides”

   

5. 5Defeat the animals

   Combat[38,-83] · Furious Coolwolf

   Raccooper does not believe you and calls other animals of the forest. Talk to the Furious Coolwolf to start the fight, which can be done in a group.

   Dialogue

   1. “Defend yourself against the animal threat”

   The fight map is instanced: only characters at the same stage of the quest seem able to join you.

6. 6Inspect the tunnel

   [38,-83]

   Raccooper and Bentlaittuce have disappeared. Click the scroll under the tent: it is a blueprint of the Albuera dam.

7. 7Report to Händel Itäll

   [36,-77] · Händel Itäll

   Händel Itäll expects reprisals: Bentlaittuce is one of Raccooper's closest friends. He turns to Thorbjarn to ask for advice.

   

8. 8Listen to Thorbjarn and Aster Bou

   Dialogue[36,-77] · Thorbjarn

   Thorbjarn is worried about the blueprints: anyone could sabotage the dam. Aster Bou, a dam worker, arrives wounded: a dozen beasts attacked them by surprise. Talk to Thorbjarn and Aster Bou in turn until the end of the quest.

Where does the Into the Coolwolf's Jaws quest start?

Find Händel Itäll, in New Albuera, in [38,-77]. You must have completed Colony Time.

Where are the coolwolf traps?

In [37,-79], at [39,-81], then at [37,-82]. The first two are empty; the third has disappeared, examine the claw marks on the tree.

Where can you find Raccooper?

Under the hidden hatch in the center of the map [38,-83]. Follow the tracks left by the wounded animal.

Can the fight be done with several players?

Yes, but only with characters at the same stage of the quest, because the fight map is instanced.

Which quest comes after Into the Coolwolf's Jaws?
