   Enter the library and go up to the first floor. Hippolyte Thermia asks you to go looking for Plinee the Elder, reported missing in the Tears of Ouronigride.

   

2. 2Find Plinee the Elder

   [-68,-85] · Plinee the Elder

   Plinee the Elder is on this map of the Tears of Ouronigride. He is fine, but he needs a certain Jamie Coggut, who is really missing, to carry out his project. He asks you to find him, starting by asking Cap'n Tankerous for information.

   

3. 3Buy a drink from the continent

   Items[20,-29]

   Before going to see Cap'n Tankerous, head to the Pandazaap tavern and get 1 Pandaburg or 1 Pandapils: the captain will only talk in exchange for a drink from the continent.

4. 4Make Cap'n Tankerous talk

   [-85,-36] · Cap'n Tankerous

   At the lighthouse, ask Cap'n Tankerous for information about Jamie Coggut. He only talks in exchange for a non-Frigostian drink: talk to him again and give him the potion.

5. 5Capture a Mysterious Atomystique

   Combat

   Go back to the Tears of Ouronigride and fight Atomystiques: they have a 12% base chance to drop a Mysterious Atomystique, which then follows you around.

6. 6Show the Atomystique to Plinee

   With the Mysterious Atomystique as a follower character, go back to see Plinee: the atomystique is under the influence of a hex. Go ask Jon Burrowman for information.

   Jon Burrowman confirms the hex. To break it, he needs 10 Aline Rose and 5 Maree Rose, two quest resources.

   Combat

   Aline Roses drop at a base rate of 20% from all the monsters of the Tears of Ouronigride, and at 100% from the Atomystiques.

   Collect

   Maree Roses can be gathered at nine locations in the Tears of Ouronigride. They reappear about every 10 minutes: if you don't see a flower on a map, it has just been picked.
