On the Trail of the Moonies

What to prepare

Nothing to buy: three fights, all possible in a group, and quest items to find along the way.

The 8 quest steps

1. 1Search the grounded boat

   [35,5]

   Enter the beached ship and search the books: you find a note about Wunaye Willeh's treasure. The treasure hunt begins.

2. 2Find the second scroll

   Movement[33,8]

   Go to [33,8] and click on the Kokoko nut sliced in half. A fight starts, possible in a group; the monster uses Slobber Juice, which deals 50 Neutral damage. After the victory, the Second Moonies Scroll arrives in your inventory: read it to find out what comes next.

3. 3Find the third scroll

   Movement[30,10]

   Go to [30,10] and click on the small drum. A fight starts, possible in a group. You then get the Third Moonies Scroll: read it to find out your next destination.

   Two spells in this fight: Batou Kada deals 40 Neutral damage, and Motivating Drum gives 2 MP for 1 turn to the caster and its allies within a radius of 3 range.

4. 4Find the pirate hat

   Movement[32,4]

   Go to [32,4], enter the shipwreck and click on the chest. A Pirate Hat arrives in your quest inventory.

   Click only on the chest, not on the skeleton.

5. 5Find Bworn's Key

   Movement[33,3]

   Follow the path to the dungeon at [33,3]. In front of the well, go down into it and click on the skeleton to strip it of its key: Bworn's Key arrives in your quest inventory.

6. 6Enter Bworn's Cavern

   Movement

   Climb back out of the well and go to the map on the left. Enter Bworn's Cavern using the key.

7. 7Defeat Wunaye Willeh

   Combat[33,3] · Wunaye Willeh

   Talk to the pirate Wunaye Willeh. He sets a trap by offering you his treasure: refuse and attack him. The fight can be done in a group.

   If you accept the treasure, you are turned into a ghost. In a group, the quest updates for everyone, as long as each person has talked to Wunaye Willeh before the fight.

8. 8Talk to Wunaye Willeh again

   Dialogue[33,3] · Wunaye Willeh

   Talk to Willeh again at the end of the fight. You learn that there was no treasure: those maps were a trap. The quest ends.

Where does the On the Trail of the Moonies quest start?

In the grounded boat on Turtle Beach, at [35,5]. Search the books to find the note about Wunaye Willeh's treasure.

Where can you find the Moonies scrolls?

The second at [33,8], the third at [30,10]. Click on the Kokoko nut sliced in half, then on the small drum: each one starts a fight.

Where can you find the Pirate Hat?

In the shipwreck's chest, at [32,4]. Don't click on the skeleton.

Where can you find Bworn's Key?

On the skeleton at the bottom of the well, on the way to the dungeon at [33,3]. Go down into the well and click on the skeleton.

Should you accept Wunaye Willeh's treasure?

No. It's a trap that turns you into a ghost: refuse and attack him.
