What to prepare

Nothing to buy: six bones to collect, one of them from the Moowolf, in his dungeon. The three quest fights can be done in a group.

The 6 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Canynan the Merian

   Dialogue[-26,-5] · Canynan the Merian

   The quest starts after The Inner Beast. After Sionverin's failure, rekindling the ancients' protective flame is the Merians' last hope against the curse.

   

2. 2Go see Hyrini

   Dialogue[-27,-3] · Hyrini

   The shaman may have a solution to the curse: rekindling the ancients' fire. For that you need to collect the 6 bones that make it burn.

   

3. 3Collect the six bones

   Items

   Each bone is obtained at a specific spot. The three quest fights can be done in a group.

   • [-28,-2] dust bone: go into the hole at the top of the map and click the skeleton
   • [-25,-3] mud bone: talk to Caillus Pudis, choose “Reply that the Crocofaults have something that interests you” and defeat 2 Crocofaults
   • [-23,-2] blood bone: talk to the bloodthirsty monster, who is none other than a wabbit, and beat it
   • [-21,-7] stone bone: talk to Kanig Foreman, choose “Politely ask if he has a stone bone on him” and beat him
   • [-24,-9] scale bone: click the skeleton of a dragon
   • [-23,0] iron bone: beat the Moowolf in his dungeon

4. 4Defeat the Moowolf

   Combat[-23,0]

   For the iron bone, do the Moowolf Lair dungeon and defeat the Moowolf.

5. 5Place the bones on the graves

   [-27,-3] · Hyrini

   Bring the bones back to Hyrini, then click the 6 graves on the map to place the recovered bones on them. Talk to Hyrini again: the fire burns once more.

Where does the Start the Fire quest start?

With Canynan the Merian, at [-26,-5], following The Inner Beast.

Where can you find the six bones?

Dust at [-28,-2], mud at [-25,-3], blood at [-23,-2], stone at [-21,-7], scales at [-24,-9] and iron at [-23,0]. Three are obtained in combat, one in the Moowolf dungeon.

Do you have to do a dungeon?

Yes, the Moowolf Lair, for the iron bone: you have to defeat the Moowolf.

What do you do with the bones?

Place them on the 6 graves on Hyrini's map, at [-27,-3]. Then talk to her again: the fire burns once more.
