The 6 quest steps

1. 1Receive the mission from Oto Mustam

   Dialogue[-25,33] · Oto Mustam

At the Brakmar militia, Oto Mustam sends you to offer Xephires an arrangement with Brakmar. He advises you to go between 16:00 and midnight.

2. 2Make the offer to Xephires

   [20,-29] · Xephires

In the Pandazaap tavern, in Pandala, make your offer to Xephires: he refuses and asks you to leave.

Xephires is only there between 16:00 and 24:00. To bring him in earlier, ask the innkeeper Hairod'og whether Xephires is punctual and pay him 10,000 kamas: he sells you a Half-price Pandaburg Flask, which makes Xephires come. Then change maps and come back so that Xephires appears. The quest has sometimes worked outside this time window.

3. 3Tell Oto Mustam about your failure

   Dialogue[-25,33] · Oto Mustam

Oto Mustam decides to buy off Xephires with an item he covets: a jewel.

4. 4Question Marge Gondersun

Xephires likes diamonds and rubies, but above all he is fond of exotic items.

Talk to the Brakmar jeweler about Oto Mustam's request. He first agrees to give you the crown of the King of the Borins, but can't find the combination to the chest that holds it. In the end, he changes his mind: he will make a comparable one if you gather the ingredients on his list.
