   Esra'Ruoy'Dnim tells you that the pact you gave him is a fake. To make amends, go and steal the Frigost librarian's book and bring it to Divad.

   

2. 2Take Hippolyte Tairmy's book

   [-79,-42] · Hippolyte Thermia

   In Frigost Village, ask Hippolyte for the book containing the information about the Araknas Sacred Stone, then take it.

3. 3Bring the book to Divad Dleifrepok

   Items[-22,33] · Divad Dleifrepok

   In Brakmar, go up to the second floor and head left to give the book to Divad Dleifrepok. He doubts where it came from: the book smells like the books from Marp's house.

   

4. 4Show the book to Oz Dralett

   Items[7,-19] · Oz Dralett

   In Astrub, show the book to Oz. He sold it himself to a Sram, and advises you to question the Goblin who printed it.

   

5. 5Show the book to Prent

   Items[7,-19] · Prent

   Go down to the ground floor and show the Book about the Petrified Forest to Prent. A certain Henry Tohis paid him to put his manuscripts into book form.

6. 6Question Henry Tohis

   Dialogue[1,-2] · Henry Tohis

   Show the book to Henry. He had it printed to sell to the many adventurers asking about the Araknas sacred stones.

   

7. 7Report to Esra'Ruoy'Dnim

   Report what you have learned. As for Uk, Henry is feeding you nonsense: go straight to question Lars Tord.

8. 8Question Lars Tord

   Dialogue[2,-1] · Lars Tord

   Talk to Lars about the copy of the documents. He sold other copies besides the one he gave you, and can therefore pay Linda back.

   

9. 9Talk to Linda Malibou

   Dialogue[2,-1] · Linda Malibou

   In the opposite room, tell Linda that Lars will be able to pay her back. Lars always does it this way: a huge tab, a treasure to pay it off, then the party starts again. She adds that many adventurers are looking for all sorts of things for the Collector.

    Follow the Collector's trail through two NPCs.

    • [4,12] Karine tells you that the Collector isn't here
    • [-18,-33] on the road to the rock, Blok Znarf makes fake Minipouf castles for the Collector for lots of people, and thinks you haven't handed yours over

    Ask Linda to meet Tati the Collector. She confides that he has been trying for ages to get his hands on the Assimilateur Temporel.

12. 12Make inquiries at the Malle aux trésors

    Movement[-25,-36]

    Ask Nova about the Assimilateur Temporel: nobody has found this object yet, which lets you go back in time. Then ask Biffya: she blunders, and you learn that there are several treasure hunts similar to the one you won. She sends you to see Charlie Endstown-Smisse.

    

13. 13Confront Charlie Endstown-Smisse

    Dialogue[-1,2] · Charlie Endstown-Smisse

    Talk to him about his deal with the Malle aux trésors. He has been watching you for a long time: it was all a huge hoax to drum up his business, and he doesn't know where the real pact is.

    Tell Uk that you were tricked by the Tourist Agency. He is furious. The quest ends.
