The Cursed Scythe

What to prepare

Two weapons, lost during the quest: the Blord Warrior's Cursed Sword, without which the quest won't start, and a Lady Root that serves as the handle.

• 1 × Lady Rootto buy, or to craft with a level 88 minimum Sculptor

The 4 quest steps

1. 1Get the Blord Warrior's Cursed Sword

   Items

   Buy the sword, or have it crafted by a level 200 minimum Blacksmith. Recipe: 1 Pink Claw, 1 Grizmine Claw, 1 Goultard, 1 Raziel, 1 Killarity Sword, 1 Ice Knight Sword, 1 Fake Claw of Ceangal and 1 Furritung.

   To start the quest, you must have the Blord Warrior's Cursed Sword in your inventory. You lose it during the quest, in exchange for the scythe.

2. 2Talk to Farle Ingalsse

   Dialogue[5,6] · Farle Ingalsse

   At the Ingalsses' Fields, Farle Ingalsse sees your cursed sword and offers to turn it into a scythe. To do so, he needs another weapon to serve as the handle: a Lady Root.

   

3. 3Get the Lady Root

   Items

   Buy the Lady Root, or have it crafted by a level 88 minimum Sculptor. Recipe: 2 Mantiscore Carapace, 2 Bakelelite, 3 Greater Bherb Feather, 8 Spykbal Ball, 3 Scordion Tail and 1 Liroye Merline's Bark.

   This weapon is also lost during the quest.

4. 4Give both weapons to Farle Ingalsse

   Items[5,6] · Farle Ingalsse

   Go back to see Farle Ingalsse with the sword and the root. He combines them into a scythe, then advises you not to cut wheat with it, at the risk of setting the fields on fire. The quest ends.

The rewards

The scythe costs 1 fewer AP than the sword and has 10 more stats in each element, but 125 less vitality and 5 fewer critical damage: it is worth about half the price of the sword.

Related quests

The quest does not unlock any other quest. Only do it if you want to increase your number of completed quests: the scythe you get is overall cheaper than the sword given in exchange.

Where does the quest The Cursed Scythe start?

With Farle Ingalsse, at the Ingalsses' Fields at [5,6]. You must have a Blord Warrior's Cursed Sword in your inventory to start it.

Which items do you have to give?

1 Blord Warrior's Cursed Sword and 1 Lady Root. Both weapons are lost: Farle Ingalsse combines them into a scythe.

How to craft the Blord Warrior's Cursed Sword?

With a level 200 minimum Blacksmith: Pink Claw, Grizmine Claw, Goultard, Raziel, Killarity Sword, Ice Knight Sword, Fake Claw of Ceangal and Furritung, one of each.

How to craft the Lady Root?

With a level 88 minimum Sculptor: 2 Mantiscore Carapace, 2 Bakelelite, 3 Greater Bherb Feather, 8 Spykbal Ball, 3 Scordion Tail and 1 Liroye Merline's Bark.

Is the quest worth it?

Only for the number of completed quests. The scythe costs about half the price of the sword you give in exchange.
