What to prepare

Repeatable quest once per Birth Season. Nothing to gather: a single fight, which can be done in a group.

The 7 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Marlyze Pickens

   Dialogue[0,18] · Marlyze Pickens

   Marlyze shows you a trap: poachers have come through the portal to hunt, and the Rhoarim think the Voyagers are accomplices. Offer her your help to destroy the traps and avoid a conflict.

2. 2Destroy the 5 traps

   You need to find and disarm 5 traps in the Osavanna. Their positions vary among these: on each map, examine the Oddnivore Trap to disarm it.

3. 3Spy on the Wary Poacher

   [4,11] · Wary Poacher

   Once all the traps are disarmed, go and track down a poacher. Spy on the Wary Poacher, who wonders where his trap has gone, then walks away.

   Remember the direction the poacher takes in the last dialogue: it shows where to find him.

4. 4Follow the poacher to their camp

   Movement

   Find the Wary Poacher again according to the direction he took, and follow him: you are teleported with him to the poachers' hideout.

   • [4,12] if he went south

5. 5Teach the poachers a lesson

   Combat · Poachers' Leader

   Talk to the Poachers' Leader: he spots you right away and attacks you. The fight can be done with several players. After the victory, you get a Poachers' Contract, signed by Razof to capture baby oddnivores.

6. 6Free the oddnivores

   Talk to the caged oddnivore of your choice, for example the Young Captive Rabbilope, and free them all from their cages.

7. 7Report back to Marlyze Pickens

   [0,18] · Marlyze Pickens

   Tell her that the traps have been removed and the poachers eliminated, and give her the contract: it could prove the Voyagers' innocence to the Rhoarim. The quest ends.

Where does The Hunt Is On! quest start?

With Marlyze Pickens, at Gargandyas's Tail at [0,18], in Osavora. You must be level 180, have completed Trouble in Paradise, and it must be the Birth Season.

Where are the oddnivore traps?

Five traps, among nine possible positions : [4,13], [5,13], [6,13], [6,12], [5,12], [4,11], [5,11], [6,11] and [6,10]. Examine each Oddnivore Trap to disarm it.

Where do you find the Wary Poacher again?

According to the direction he takes at [4,11]: in the northwest at [4,10], in the northeast at [5,9], in the south at [4,12].

Can the fight against the poachers be done in a group?

Yes. The monsters are from the family of the Count Razof's Camp dungeon.

Can the quest be repeated?

Yes, once per Birth Season. It gives 1,050,000 XP and 30 Orichor.
