The 13 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Herr Peece

   Dialogue[-80,-45] · Herr Peece

   Herr Peece, Frigost's doctor, is looking for a cure for the lurgi. He asks you to take blood samples from sick Mastogobs.

   

2. 2Collect 6 blood samples

   Items

   Go to the Icefields of Frigost and fight Mastogobs to get 6 Mastogob Blood Sample. The drop rate is 30% base, but prospecting and challenges easily bring it up to 100%.

3. 3Bring back the samples

   Items[-80,-45] · Herr Peece

   Give the 6 samples to Herr Peece. He now needs isotonic seawater, and only Cap'n Tankerous knows how to get some.

4. 4Talk to Cap'n Tankerous

   Dialogue[-85,-36] · Cap'n Tankerous

   At the lighthouse, Cap'n Tankerous agrees to give you isotonic seawater if you bring him mugwort.

   

5. 5Ask Jon Burrowman for mugwort

   Dialogue[-81,-44] · Jon Burrowman

   The Frigostian alchemist refuses: he knows the mugwort is for Tankerous. Offer him something in exchange, nothing works: he will only give the mugwort if Tankerous comes to apologize.

   

6. 6Set up a meeting with Tankerous

   [-85,-36] · Cap'n Tankerous

   Tell Tankerous that Éric refused. He refuses to go and apologize: suggest a one-on-one meeting and choose the time slot. A paper with the meeting times arrives in your quest inventory.

   Choose the time carefully: you will have to be there. To change time slot, you have to talk to Tankerous again, but only after 24 hours.

7. 7Have a drink with Tankerous

   [-77,-38] · Cap'n Tankerous

   During the time slot you chose, go to the Frigostian Paradise Tavern. Talk to Tankerous and start having a drink with him, then keep talking to him while drinking.

   

8. 8Collect the mugwort

   Items[-81,-44] · Jon Burrowman

   Go back to Éric: Tankerous came to apologize. He gives you the mugwort.

9. 9Exchange the mugwort for the seawater

   Bring the mugwort to Tankerous: he gives you the isotonic seawater in exchange.

10. 10Bring the seawater to Herr Peece

    Items[-80,-45] · Herr Peece

    Albert injected a vaccine into a guinea pig locked in his cellar, but can't manage to give it another shot to analyze the effects. You need to take a blood sample from The Beast.

11. 11Open the cellar gate

    [-80,-45]

    Go down to the cellar. Three other characters must stand on specific cells so you can get through to the other side of the gate. By going through, only you get a new spell: Herr Peece's Enchantment, essential against The Beast.

12. 12Defeat The Beast

    Combat[-80,-45]

    Start the fight against The Beast to get the sample. It can be done with several players. After the victory, you get a The Beast Blood Sample.

    Cast Herr Peece's Enchantment on The Beast before killing it: otherwise, your whole team dies at once.

13. 13Give the sample to Herr Peece

    Go back up to see Herr Peece. His vaccine is effective for a week and will have to be renewed every week, but he fully intends to find a longer-lasting one. The quest ends.
