Gather the resources for the Fermented Mixture, a Twiggy Shovel, and 40 kamas for the Pandaburg. The other ingredients of the Pandabsinthe are collected during the quest.

1. 1Talk to Keg O'Beer

   Dialogue[19,-31] · Keg O'Beer

   Keg O'Beer settled in Pandala hoping to meet spirits, but he can't see them, even after drinking fermented bamboo milk. Suggest he go see Doukwang, a spirit who is an expert in alcoholic drinks.

   

2. 2Escort Keg O'Beer to Doukwang

   Movement[20,-29] · Doukwang

   Escort the Nimbos to the Pandazaap tavern and introduce him to Doukwang. The spirit advises offering him a Pandaburg so that he can see spirits.

   

3. 3Offer a Pandaburg

   Items[20,-29] · Keg O'Beer

   Buy 1 Pandaburg for 40 kamas from the innkeeper, then offer it to Keg O'Beer. Nothing changes: he still can't see the spirit.

4. 4Talk to Doukwang again

   Dialogue[20,-29] · Doukwang

   It's the first time a fermented milk drinker can't see the spirits. A much stronger drink is needed: Pandabsinthe. It is no longer produced, and only one person still knows how to make it.

5. 5Meet Renn

   Dialogue[36,-42] · Renn

   Get to Nolifis Island, by boat from [27,-27]. Renn first thinks Daggero sent you: he took her sight away, because her Pandabsinthe had driven Zatoishwan mad. Daggero's spies are watching her, and she fears losing another sense if she helps you.

   

6. 6Eliminate Daggero's spies

   Combat[35,-41]

   Talk to one of the Daggero's Spies to attack them. The fight is solo.

7. 7Go back to see Renn

   Dialogue[36,-42] · Renn

   Renn gives you the Pandabsinthe recipe and its ingredients, but doesn't want to get any more involved: get Doukwang to help you. For an even stronger drink, you need to add an item belonging to whoever will drink it.

   

8. 8Collect 15 Wild Root

   Items

   Wild Roots drop at a base rate of 42% from all Plantala creatures. The ingredients can be collected in any order.

9. 9Collect 2 Grass Snake Venom

   Combat

   Each click starts a solo fight against a Flushed-Out Grass Snake.

   The venom is not automatic: it drops at a base rate of 55%. Without venom, wait about 3 minutes before clicking on the pebbles again to start the fight.

    At the distillery, click on the still in the top corner of the map and craft the Fermented Mixture: 5 Holy Bamboo Wood, 20 Dark Bamboo Wood, 15 Pandkin Seed and 20 Rice.

13. 13Make the Pandabsinthe with Doukwang

    Go back to see Doukwang and answer in this order to distill the Pandabsinthe correctly. An item belonging to the Nimbos is still missing to make it stronger.

14. 14Ask Keg O'Beer for a keepsake

    Tell him that the Pandabsinthe is ready, but that an item belonging to him is missing. He tells you where he buried a chest full of items dear to him.

    

15. 15Dig up the chest

    Equip the Twiggy Shovel before entering the map, then click on the conch-shaped shell. The chest attacks you: the fight can be done in a group.

    The chest kills in one hit in melee: stay at range.

    The Nimbos is no longer in his tavern. The Inn Regular tells you he left with two kistous: he is probably in Daggero's lair, south of Aerdala.

    In Aerdala, talk to Daggero's Spy so he leads you to the lair.

20. 20Fight Daggero

    Combat · Daggero

    You are the one Daggero was after: he kidnapped the Nimbos to lure you. Renn gave you away, under the threat of losing his hands. Daggero wants to avoid another catastrophe, like when his master Zatoishwan destroyed the Wriggling Snapper Village. He won't hear a thing: the fight is solo.

    Daggero is invulnerable: find and eliminate the kistous accompanying him to make him vulnerable.

21. 21Escort Keg O'Beer

    After the fight, talk to Keg O'Beer to escort him to his tavern.

22. 22Offer the Pandabsinthe

    Talk to Keg O'Beer again to offer him the bottle. He can finally see the spirits, including the one in his tavern, and will be able to fit in at Pandala. The quest ends.

With Keg O'Beer, in his tavern in Pandala Village at [19,-31]. You must be level 120 and have finished Pandala Awakens.

Where can I find the Grass Snake Venom?

From the Flushed-Out Grass Snake, at [22,-26] and [25,-24]. Click on the pebbles to start the fight. The venom drops at 55%: if it doesn't, wait about 3 minutes before trying again.

What answers should I give Doukwang for the Pandabsinthe?

Three answers, in the order of the recipe. Crush the petals and the roots, soak them in the venom with the barks, then dip it all into the fermented mixture. The three exact choices are in the corresponding step.

How do I dig up Keg O'Beer's chest?

By equipping a Twiggy Shovel before arriving at [12,-22]. Then click on the conch-shaped shell; the chest attacks you and kills in one hit in melee.

How do I get into Daggero's lair?

By Daggero's Spy, in Aerdala at [23,-34]. Talk to him: he leads you to the lair.

How do I beat Daggero?

Eliminate the kistous accompanying him first, otherwise he stays invulnerable. His agents are invisible throughout the fight but only have 35 HP.
