What to prepare

The 9 quest steps

1. 1Talk to the Chronomagic Expert

   Dialogue[-83,-15] · Chronomagic Expert

   In front of the Crocuzko zaap, the Chronomagic Expert tells you that Crokalcrolak disappeared during the teleportation. He senses his presence on the island: the crocodyl may have arrived a few days before you, because of the anomaly's interference.

   This zaap can now be used from any other zaap. It also lets you reach the invisible anomaly to help a friend in their fight.

2. 2Look for traces of Crokalcrolak

   Movement

   Go to the map to the left and click the skeleton on the ground: you discover signs of a struggle. Now you need to inspect the monsters in the surrounding area.

   Start Meat-Lovers' Delight at the same time, up to the point where you have to get meat, and Of Maps and Missteps: they also ask you to fight the island's monsters.

3. 3Get the stone and the scroll

   Items

   Fight groups of monsters on the island to get 1 Unaltered Moonstone (20% base) and 1 Nibbled Scroll (10% base). Double-click them: the stone bears Crokalcrolak's name, and the scroll announces that someone is going to be sacrificed.

4. 4Question the Crocuzko Resident

   Dialogue[-83,-17] · Inhabitant of Crocuzko

   Show the items to the Crocuzko Resident. Displeased, he decides to take you to someone who can answer your questions: you are teleported to the dungeon map.

5. 5Defend yourself against the acolytes

   Movement[-84,-16] · Ixchelonia Priest

   The Ixchelonia Priest refuses to explain himself and orders his acolytes to attack you. The fight is solo, using the Lunar Cycle principle, explained on the Turtelonia's Sanctuary dungeon page. The spells encountered are detailed in the FAQ.

6. 6Talk to the Ixchelonia Priest again

   Dialogue[-84,-16] · Ixchelonia Priest

   The priest attacked you because someone like you shouldn't own an unaltered moonstone. Tell him it belongs to Crokalcrolak: he wants to meet him. According to him, the Chaklaplok Priest kidnapped him to sacrifice him in a few days.

7. 7Free Crokalcrolak

   Combat[-83,-17] · Chaklaplok Priest

   Go down the well ladder to the Well of Waters-that-Bite. The Chaklaplok Priest refuses to release Crokalcrolak, whom he plans to sacrifice: you have to free him by force. A three-wave fight starts, doable in a group.

8. 8Talk to the Chaklaplok Priest and to Crokalcrolak

   Dialogue[-83,-17] · Crokalcrolak

   After his defeat, the Chaklaplok Priest agrees to release Crokalcrolak. Talk to Crokalcrolak: he now has to go and explain to the Ixchelonia Priest where he got the stone.

9. 9Introduce Crokalcrolak to the Ixchelonia Priest

   Dialogue[-84,-16] · Ixchelonia Priest

   Listen to the conversation in order. Crokalcrolak is not a thief: the stone is a family heirloom, and his stories made him want to come back to the island. The Priest demands proof, otherwise he will sacrifice him. Crokalcrolak leaves it up to you: ask the priest whether it is possible to meet Ixchelonia. The quest ends; as you continue the conversation, you get The Meaning of Sacrifice.
