Quest Frigost Island

Unyobable

Level 200 quest in Frigost, with Dundivad in the Kingdom of Freezammer at [-65,-68]: sole survivor of a cave-in, the Nimbos wants to understand why he is never sick. All the steps, the dialogue choices and the three fights at his side.

What to prepare

Nothing to gather. Dundivad follows you throughout the quest and fights by your side: all three fights are done alone with him.

The 9 quest steps

  1. 1Talk to Dundivad

    Dialogue · Dundivad

His fellow miners died in a cave-in; he survived. A message asked him how many times he has been sick: never. A dream in which he sees a person in a wheelchair troubles him. Help him find that person: Dundivad follows you.

If you lose Dundivad after a defeat, go back and get him from his starting position, at .

  2. 2Introduce Dundivad to Professor Xa

    Dialogue · Professor Xa

In the Fangs of Glass, in front of Kolosso's Caverns, introduce Dundivad to the professor. According to Xa, the Nimbos has a power that only shows when he is on the defensive: he wants to test it against his students.

    Dialogue

  3. 3Face the professor's students

    Combat

A fight starts against 4 zone monsters, alone with Dundivad. The Nimbos is very strong and does 90% of the work: his Undwarfable spell makes him invulnerable for the whole fight, and Hash hits for 600 to 1,000 Earth in a cross of size 3, stealing 3 range.

  4. 4Ask Professor Xa for his opinion

    Dialogue · Professor Xa

Dundivad is never sick and survives everything because he is invulnerable. Yet he must have a weak point, and another gift he has never used: recognizing danger.

    Dialogue

    1. “Ask the professor's opinion about the test Dundivad went through”
    2. “Escort Dundivad to the mine”
  5. 5Question Dundivad in the mine

    Dialogue · Dundivad

Enter the Day Without End mine. Talk to Dundivad so he tells you about the miners: he recounts the misdeeds of the Enutrofs, until discovering that one of them is a murderer.

The mine is only accessible at this step of the quest.

  7. 7Follow the call from the northwest

    Movement · Dundivad

Talk to Dundivad again: he feels special, as if he had a role to play. He takes out his message again and feels someone calling him to the northwest, in the Fangs of Glass.

  8. 8Defeat Mister Glace

    Combat · Mister Glace

The Sram is the author of the message: he has been looking for Dundivad for years and caused several accidents, including the collapse of the mine, to find the hero who would survive. Frail and machiavellian, he is the opposite of the Nimbos. He refuses to surrender: attack him, alone with Dundivad.
