Quest Rocky Roads

Wanted: Atcham

Level 200 Wanted Notices, to be taken at the Ecaflipus Voyager outpost at [-1,-6]: find Atcham, who hides under the name Sham at Kerub's Temple, defeat him along with Ro and Mi, then deliver him to The Colonel's Krosmoglob. All the steps, the legendary hunt alternative and the combat strategy.

What to prepare

Nothing to gather for the classic method, but you need to find the portal to Ecaflipus, the divine dimension where the notice and the wanted target are. For the legendary treasure hunt alternative, you need all eight fragments of Atcham's Map.

Quest Resources, obtained along the way

  • Map fragment of Atcham 1/8 icon1 × Atcham Map fragment 1/8alternative only: random drop from treasure hunt chests, by trade or at the auction house, like the other seven fragments

The 5 quest steps

  1. 1Take the wanted notice

    Dialogue

Go through the portal to the divine dimension Ecaflipus and head to the Voyager outpost. There is only one wanted notice, Atcham's, the only wanted target in this dimension. Click the highlighted sign.

    Dialogue

    1. “Head out questing for Atcham”
  2. 2Locate Sham

    Movement

Atcham appears in his area under the name Sham, always at Kerub's Temple, in Ecaflipus. He is not always there: once defeated, he disappears for several hours before coming back.

If a group defeats him without anyone getting him as a follower character, because no one has the quest in progress or everyone has already completed it, he reappears immediately in the area.

  3. 3Alternative: the legendary hunt

    Dialogue

If you can't find him, you can capture him for sure with a legendary treasure hunt. At the Treasure Chest, assemble Atcham's Map at the Desk with the 8 fragments, then start the hunt at the Drafting Table. It works like a classic treasure hunt, with a fight against the wanted target at the end.

    Dialogue

    1. “Atcham's Treasure”
    2. “Begin”

In this fight, the wanted target is alone, so no Vitality or Power penalty. All characters in the fight who have the quest get it as a follower; only the one who started the hunt receives a chest, with hunt rewards and 1 Atcham's Hair, a unique resource used in a recipe.

  4. 4Defeat Sham, Ro and Mi

    Combat

Attack Sham: from the start of the fight, he summons his two pals, Ro and Mi. The fight is a game of rock-paper-scissors: only hit the monster that the state received by your character beats. See the Fights section.

Never hit the wrong monster: you become Pacifist for 3 turns and take 300% of the damage dealt.

  5. 5Deliver Atcham

    Items · The Colonel's Krosmoglob

After the victory, you get Atcham as a follower character, provided you started the quest. Leave the divine dimension and enter the Voyagers' Tower. Take the blue portal on the left, the blue portal on the left again, then the portal on the left one last time. Talk to The Colonel's Krosmoglob: you lose your follower and the quest ends.

    Dialogue

    1. “Deliver Atcham”

Unlike the other wanted targets, Atcham is not imprisoned: his brother Kerub Crepin proved he may be innocent. His notice is suspended, but you still collect the reward.

Sham

Sham

Level 200

30,000 HP, 10 AP and 6 MP, no resistance, no invulnerable state. Ad Hoc Allies state: -2,000 Vitality per monster present with him. Sham matches Scissors, Ro matches Rock, Mi matches Paper: the symbol is under each monster. At the start of each of Sham's turns, each of your characters randomly receives the Rock, Paper or Scissors state, shown by a blue icon above them. Only hit the monster that your state beats: Rock beats Sham, Paper beats Ro, Scissors beats Mi. The damage is then split between the other two: hitting one for 700 means hitting all three for 700. A hit on the right monster gives the other two a bonus for 1 turn, only once per monster hit: Ro +3 MP, Sham +50% Critical, Mi +3 range and 50 Flight. So Sham can stack his 50% Critical twice if you hit Ro then Mi in the same turn. Hitting the wrong monster makes your character Pacifist for 3 turns (cannot be dispelled), the damage is not split and you take 300% of the damage dealt. As soon as one of the three dies, the other two die with it. Tips: stay more than 4 range away from Ro and more than 9 range away from Sham. You can also avoid Ro's melee and hit only Sham, with the characters that have the Rock state: Sham is then never boosted in Critical.

  • Ro Sham Bo

From the start of the fight, permanently: Sham summons Ro and Mi, who have as much HP as he does, splits the damage among the three and assigns the Rock, Paper or Scissors states at the start of each of his turns.

  • Cut

Whack dealing 300 Fire damage, up to 2,200 on a critical hit. Up to 3 range, 2 times per turn and 1 times per target.

Ro

Ro

Level 200

Matches Rock: hit it with the Paper state. The most dangerous in melee.

  • Dampening

Whack dealing 1,600 Neutral damage, up to 2,000 on a critical hit. Melee only, 2 times per turn and 1 times per target.

Bo

Bo

Level 200

Matches Paper: hit it with the Scissors state. The least dangerous of the three, barely stronger on a critical hit.

  • Enveloping

Whack dealing 100 in each of the five elements, Fire, Air, Earth, Water and Neutral, roughly 500 in total. From 3 to 4 range without line of sight, 2 times per turn and 1 times per target.
