A Crystal-Clear Voice

What to prepare

You must run two dungeons: Nileza's Laboratory and Captain Meno's Ship. Start His Name is Nobody before defeating Meno, otherwise his dialogues won't be the right ones.

The 9 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Decimandi

   Dialogue[-76,-80] · Decimandi

   The quest starts in the cavern of fate. Decimandi asks you to bring him back Kallishindri's voice, a singer who has since disappeared.

   Kallishindri's sister last saw her leaving for Mount Scauldron.

   At the Frigost III Militia, the Baron tells you that Kallishindri died during the battle of the barracks.

4. 4Make the Music-Loving Ghost appear

   [-76,-78] · Music-Loving Ghost

   Enter the Endless Day Barracks and go straight ahead twice from the entrance. Clear the map of its monsters, then click on the piano: the Music-Loving Ghost appears. He tells you that Kallishindri used to sing for Nileza.

   There is normally only one monster group on the map: defeat it, or have another character attack it, so that the map stays empty while you click on the piano and talk to the ghost.

   

5. 5Defeat Nileza

   Combat[-59,-74] · Nileza

   Run the Nileza's Laboratory dungeon and defeat Nileza. In the exit room, talk to him: he was listening to a crystal that played Kallishindri's voice, which he broke. Others surely exist: you have to find the inventor of the process.

6. 6Defeat Captain Meno

   Combat[24,27] · Captain Meno

   In the Abysses of Sufokia, run the Captain Meno's Ship dungeon and defeat Meno. In the exit room, talk to him: he offers you a deal. Bring him the concerto scores missing from his collection, and he will give you the crystal.

   Dialogue

   1. “Talk about Kallishindri and the crystals”

   You must have started or completed His Name is Nobody before defeating Meno: without it, you won't get the right dialogues.

7. 7Collect the seven scores

   Items

   The scores are scattered across the World of Twelve, almost all on a piano. Pick them up in whatever order you like.

   • [0,-3] Concerto for Lemonade: in the Incarnam tavern, talk to Andre Rieur, who gives you a copy
   • [4,-6] Royal Concerto: at Amakna Castle, go straight ahead to the throne room and click on the piano
   • [15,-57] Spiced Concerto: click on the piano in the Sandloon in Ohwymi
   • [-6,-15] Concerto for Webs: enter the Rac Queen dungeon, the piano is in the first room
   • [3,17] Concerto for Bow Meow: use the star on the ground, at the top right, to enter a secret map, then climb all the way up the house to the piano
   • [6,-21] Concerto of the Mercenaries: in Astrub, go into the house on the right and click on the piano
   • [2,-1] Amaknian Concerto: in the Amakna tavern, take the stairs on the right up to the piano in the function room

8. 8Give the scores to Captain Meno

   Items[24,27] · Captain Meno

   Go back to the Abysses of Sufokia and talk to Meno's Kloon Snapper: it takes you back to Meno without having to redo the dungeon. Deal done: Meno hands you the crystal and asks you to take good care of it.

The Music-Loving Ghost doesn't appear, why?

The map must be free of monsters. In the Endless Day Barracks, defeat the group or have another character attack it, then click on the piano.

Where do you find the concerto scores?

On seven pianos or NPCs of the World of Twelve: Incarnam [0,-3], Amakna Castle [4,-6], Sandloon in Ohwymi [15,-57], Rac Queen dungeon [-6,-15], secret map at [3,17], Astrub [6,-21] and Amakna tavern [2,-1].

Meno doesn't talk about Kallishindri, what should you do?

Start the quest His Name is Nobody before defeating Meno: it must be in progress or completed to get the right dialogues.

Do you need to redo the Meno dungeon to hand over the scores?

No. Talk to Meno's Kloon Snapper, in the Abysses of Sufokia at [24,27] : it takes you back to the captain.

What does A Crystal-Clear Voice unlock?

A step of the Norrdeal quest: Decimandi changes his mind about the dragon Dardondakal.
