What to prepare

1. 1Talk to Ladda Jakobs

   At Amakna Castle, the Seneschal tells you that Gusta's cousin has disappeared.

   

2. 2Question Gusta Lavista

   Dialogue[4,-6] · Gusta Lavista

   Gusta is in the kitchens, on the left. Her cousin Hulos was supposed to prepare a dessert for King Allister's reception, but she has never seen him again. Worried after the recent events, she asks you to find him.

3. 3Question Angelo Bolle

   Dialogue[-31,-52] · Angelo Bolle

   In the Bonta bakers' workshop, where Hulos works, tell the baker that Hulos never arrived at the castle. Angelo tells you he took the stagecoach south.

   

4. 4Question the cemetery keeper

   Dialogue[-21,-58] · Fiuna Ramarch

   At the stagecoach station at the gates of the Bonta cemetery, ask Fiuna Ramarch when the last stagecoach left. It did leave, with Hulos on board.

   

5. 5Talk to Nash Nulrail

   Dialogue[0,-18] · Nash Nulrail

   At the Astrub stagecoach station, Nash Nulrail tells you that one of their stagecoaches never arrived. An incident supposedly took place at the northern border of the Cania Peaks, and the investigator sent there never came back.

   

6. 6Examine the wrecked stagecoach

   [-15,-44]

   Go to the accident site and click the wrecked carriage. As you inspect it, you hear screams coming from the south.

   

7. 7Rescue the Bontarian in Distress

   [-15,-42]

   Two blops are threatening a Bonta resident. Talk to one of the blops to defend her. They behave like normal blops, with much more vitality. The fight can be done with several players, and the quest advances for everyone. You get a Globule of Clingy Blop as a quest item.

8. 8Listen to the Bontarian woman

   Dialogue[-15,-42] · Bontarian in Distress

   Talk to the Bontarian woman again: Kanigs attacked the stagecoach and took the passengers prisoner. Only she managed to escape.

9. 9Escort the Bontarian woman to Bonta

   Movement[-29,-53]

   Two choices, same result. If you agree to escort her, she thanks you in Bonta and leaves. If you refuse, she begs you and signs you an IOU promising a nice sum: take her back to Bonta anyway, where she scampers off without ever paying you.

10. 10Capture a Kaniger

    Combat

    In the Rocky Roads, defeat a Kaniger to get him as a follower character. Question him about the chief who organized the kidnapping: he takes you to him.

11. 11Defeat Chief Krokuto

    In the Cania Moors, Chief Krokuto attacks you with two Kaniger Veterans. The fight can be done with several players, and the quest advances for everyone.

    Dialogue[-9,-49] · Chief Krokuto

    Talk to Chief Krokuto again and ask him what he did with the stagecoach passengers: he pretends not to understand. The quest ends. Keep talking to get the next quest.

It doesn't matter, both choices have the same effect. If you refuse, she signs you an IOU, but will never pay you.

Where do you find a Kaniger?

In the Rocky Roads. Once defeated, he follows you and leads you to his chief, at [-9,-49].

Can the fights be done in a group?

Yes. The quest advances for all the characters in the fight, against the blops as well as against Chief Krokuto.
