The 14 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Thorbjarn

   Dialogue[36,-77] · Thorbjarn

   The dam workers have been attacked. The Jarl's right-hand man asks you to find the island's doctor, take him to the dam and protect him while he treats the wounded.

   

2. 2Warn Ima Dokter

   Dialogue[36,-78] · Ima Dokter

   On the map above, warn the doctor Ima Dokter. He rushes to the dam right away.

   

3. 3Join the doctor at the dam

   Movement[35,-83] · Ima Dokter

   Go to Albuera Dam, where Ima Dokter is already treating a wounded man. Shortcut: go right then down to [37,-77] and talk to Hy Hländer, who teleports you to [34,-83] for 50 kamas. All that is left is to go right.

   

4. 4Question the workers

   Dialogue[35,-83]

   Bjardi Nysall was knocked out without being able to defend himself, facing too many opponents. Arfinn Eganswake resents the animals that attacked them: they also damaged the dam, which may give way and engulf the colony.

5. 5Examine the dam's logs

   [35,-83]

   Examine the logs that support the dam: they have been damaged at their base. Talk to Bjardi Nysall again: without glu, the dam will give way. There is none left, and bringing some from Moon would take too long. Only the quarry foreman may have some, for his models.

6. 6Ask Skäff Ölding for glu

   The foreman still has some: he hands you a barrel of Colonialist Glu without even letting you explain why.

7. 7Reinforce the dam

   [35,-83]

   Go back to the dam and click on the logs to reinforce them yourself with the glu. The dam is no longer in danger of giving way, at least for now.

8. 8Receive Ima Dokter's balm

   Dialogue[35,-83] · Ima Dokter

   The doctor stays to treat the workers and sends you to warn Thorbjarn. He has not seen Aster Bou, the worker who raised the alarm: he entrusts you with a regenerating balm for him.

9. 9Check in with Thorbjarn

   [36,-77] · Thorbjarn

   Shortcut: go left at [34,-83] and talk to Hy Hländer, who teleports you to [37,-77] for 50 kamas, then go left. Aster Bou has probably gone to the dam. The attacks of the rebels of the timberland are getting more and more violent: Thorbjarn sends you to parley with Raccooper in his refuge.

10. 10Defeat Raccooper

    Combat[40,-84]

    Raccooper is the boss of the Sylvan Refuge dungeon, whose entrance is at [40,-84]. Defeat him in a single fight.

    A dungeon save at the boss does update the quest.

11. 11Parley with Raccooper

    [40,-84] · Raccooper

    He blames you for hurting his friend with your traps. Accuse him of sabotaging the dam: he is innocent, because the water would drown the tunnels where his kind live. He suspects members of the colony and offers a deal: heal Bentlaittuce, and he will tell you what he knows.

12. 12Heal Bentlaittuce

    [40,-84] · Bentlaittuce

    The turtle is in a sorry state. Remove its bandages and apply the balm to its ankle: it gradually takes effect.

13. 13Listen to Raccooper

    Dialogue[40,-84] · Raccooper

    Bentlaittuce has already recovered. As promised, Raccooper tells you about a group of Albuerans who meet in secret on the heights of the island, through a passage his spies have never found.

14. 14Talk to Bentlaittuce then to Raccooper

    To thank you, Bentlaittuce offers to accompany you to the meeting place of the suspicious Albuerans. Talk to Raccooper one last time: the quest ends.

Where does the Ferreters' Association quest start?

With Thorbjarn, in New Albuera at [36,-77]. You must have completed Into the Coolwolf's Jaws.

How do I get to Albuera Dam quickly?

With Hy Hländer, at [37,-77]: for 50 kamas, he teleports you to [34,-83], one map away from the dam at [35,-83]. He also does the return trip.

Where can I find glu?

At Skäff Ölding's, the quarry foreman, at [34,-81]. He gives you a Barrel of Colonialist Glu.

Do I have to do the whole Sylvan Refuge?

You must defeat Raccooper, the boss. A dungeon save at the boss does update the quest.

What do I do with the regenerating balm?

Put it on Bentlaittuce's ankle, after the fight against Raccooper, by removing his bandages.
