The 8 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Profuzzor

   Dialogue[-9,-46] · Profuzzor

   Profuzzor studies striches to understand how they disappeared, then reappeared. His goal is to prevent them from disappearing again: for his studies, he asks you to bring him the soul of Cross Strich.

   

2. 2Obtain the soul of Cross Strich

   Combat

   Either you already have a Cross Strich soul stone, or you buy it, or you do the Cross Strich's Aviary dungeon and capture the boss. Then give the soul to the professor: he plans to bring it back to life using pieces of other striches.

3. 3Gather the strich pieces

   Items

   You now need 5 Watchamatrich Tongue, 10 Trubout Feather and 10 Strich Leg. Strich Legs are quest items: they drop at 100% base, only at this step of the quest, from the monsters of the Cania Cirque.

4. 4Give the resources to the professor

   Items[-9,-46] · Profuzzor

   Give all the resources to Profuzzor. Unfortunately, the revival did not work: he now places his hopes in magic.

5. 5Ask Vid Cheber for the potion

   Dialogue[11,16] · Vid Cheber

   Ask the old alchemist for a resurrection potion. He seems already senile and no longer remembers the recipe.

   

6. 6Talk to Kande Boffler

   Dialogue[4,12] · Kande Boffler

   Ask his colleague Kande Boffler for a resurrection potion. He does not know the recipe: the only way is to give a memory potion to Vid. Kande agrees to give you one for free.

7. 7Give the memory potion to Vid Cheber

   Items[11,16] · Vid Cheber

   Give the Memory Potion to Vid Cheber. He remembers everything and, to thank you, gives you a Resurrection Potion.

8. 8Revive Cross Strich

   [-9,-46] · Profuzzor

   Give the Resurrection Potion to Profuzzor, then talk to him again. The experiment worked: Cross Strich is resurrected, in miniature form, and the professor fully intends to collect a reward for his research. The quest ends.
