What to prepare

You must have defeated the Toxoliath with the “Keep Moving” achievement: without it, you can't talk to Didier Cash. Also plan for a fight to be done solo.

The 10 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Franky Lucgallio

   Dialogue[10,4] · Franky Lucgallio

   Franky Lucgallio works for Al Capo: she had you released from prison so she could punish you better. Still, she gives you one last chance to prove your innocence, because if you're telling the truth, the murders will continue. Look into the murders: only middle-aged women are targeted. Then explain your plan to her, disguising yourself to lure the killer.

2. 2Talk to Jobat Kosm

   Dialogue[8,3] · Jobat Kosm

   Jobat Kosm agrees to help you if you give a bag of kamas to Collector Por, who owes him a parcel.

3. 3Talk to Fenmorse

   Dialogue[8,4] · Fenmorse

   Fenmorse asks you to go and have a word with Didier Cash, who swindled her.

4. 4Set Didier Cash back on the straight and narrow

   Items[7,3] · Didier Cash

   Talk to Didier Cash about Fenmorse, then pull his hair: he agrees to go and apologize to her for leaving her to pay the bill at the restaurant.

   To talk to Didier Cash, you must have completed the Toxoliath's Cave with the “Keep Moving” achievement.

5. 5Go back to Fenmorse

   Dialogue[8,4] · Fenmorse

   Tell Fenmorse what happened with Didier. As a token of gratitude, she gives you a crate of clothes.

6. 6Collect Jobat's parcel

   Items[2,2] · Collector Por

   Go to the outpost and ask Collector Por for Jobat Kosm's parcel, handing over the bag of kamas. She gives you a bag of contraband.

7. 7Bring the bag back to Jobat Kosm

   Give the bag of contraband to Jobat Kosm: he entrusts you with a cosmetics sphere for putting on makeup.

8. 8Lure the killer

   [4,1]

   Go to the black chapel district and stand in front of the signpost: you turn into a woman. Wait for visitors: Snori Nairb is disappointed when he recognizes you, Lalat complains about your exorbitant prices, Kannimantha the Maneater seems to want to devour you and then changes his mind. Finally, Jack the Whipper pulls out his knife when he hears the price.

9. 9Defeat Jack the Whipper

   Combat[4,1]

   A fight starts against Jack the Whipper, to be done solo. After the victory, he confesses to murdering these women because he couldn't afford their exorbitant prices. Jack then follows you as a follower character.

10. 10Hand over the real killer

    Items

    Choose who to hand Jack the Whipper over to: one of the three maps is enough. At [6,-2], for example, hand him over to Trebor Sonderan. The quest ends.

You need the Toxoliath's “Keep Moving” achievement. Without it, you can't talk to Didier Cash at [7,3].

In front of the signpost in the black chapel district, at [4,1]. You turn into a woman and the killer finally shows himself.

Can the fight against Jack the Whipper be done in a group?

No, it's done solo. Beware of Evisceration, which hits for 600 and removes 2 AP and 2 MP.
