The 9 quest steps

1. 1Ask for the Gokwa rank

   Dialogue[20,-31] · Master of Pandawushu

   In the dojo, ask the Master of Pandawushu to put you through the Gokwa rank. This path uses a spirit bamboo staff: only one tree is left, guarded by a forest spirit whose trust you must earn.

   The quest is only offered 24 hours after the end of Rokwa: Path of the Fist.

   

2. 2Meet Shinotake

   Dialogue[24,-32] · Shinotake

   The guardian of the tree refuses at first: the Douziens are destroying the forest. Show your good faith, and he puts you to the test: put an end to the Yokai hunters in the area.

3. 3Defeat 2 Yokai Hunters

   Combat

   Talk to each Yokai Hunter to start the fight. Both fights are solo.

   Repeat that you want a branch for a staff in the tradition of Pandhidharma. The spirit agrees, but in exchange for plants that grow outside Pandala, which it wants to study.

5. 5Bring the plants back to Shinotake

   Items[24,-32] · Shinotake

   Reassured about the Douziens, Shinotake lets you take a branch and invites you to come back with the staff so he can bless it. Click the Spirit Bamboo, behind the spirit, to collect the branch.

8. 8Defeat the Gokwa disciple

   Combat[20,-31] · Master of Pandawushu

   Show the staff to the Master of Pandawushu: all that is left is to win a duel with it. Equip the Spirit Bamboo Staff in place of your weapon, then talk to him again to say you are ready. The fight is solo.

   

9. 9Check in with the Master of Pandawushu

   [20,-31] · Master of Pandawushu

   Your mastery of the staff is excellent: you obtain the Gokwa rank and its Gokwa Headband, a cosmetic item. The quest ends.
