What to prepare

Nothing to gather: just plan for one fight, which can be done as a group.

The 6 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Aisling

   Dialogue[7,-19] · Aisling

   The quest starts on the first floor of the library, with Aisling. She advises you to ask Oz if he has found a book about the Astrub dragon.

   Dialogue

   1. “Ask how you can help with her research about the dragon”

   

2. 2Question Oz Dralett

   Dialogue[7,-19] · Oz Dralett

   Go up to the second floor of the library. Oz did read things about this dragon, but he mistakenly handed the book over to a parchment seller.

3. 3Question Virgil Onamaz

   Dialogue[3,-17] · Virgil Onamaz

   Virgil Onamaz sold the pile of books to the apprentice blacksmith, who wants to use them as fuel.

   

4. 4Save the book from the fire

   [7,-16] · Latem Sa

   Latem Sa has just put the book into the fire. Click on the Mould, on the left of the map: a fight against the fire starts, and it can be done in a group. After the victory, you recover the Charred Book.

   Fire spells: Fascination with Fire (20 Fire); Incineration (500 Fire in an area, then it kills itself).

5. 5Show the book to Aisling

   Items[7,-19] · Aisling

   On the first floor of the library, Aisling thinks that the book cannot be restored and asks the owl for advice.

   Dialogue

   1. “Show the charred book”

6. 6Talk to Neria, then to Aisling

   Dialogue[7,-19] · Neria

   You don't understand what Neria is saying. Talk to Aisling again, who understood the bird: Magus Ax might be able to solve your problem. The quest ends; keep the conversation going to start the next one.

Where does the quest History in Motion start?

With Aisling, on the first floor of the Astrub library at [7,-19]. You must have progressed in Uprising Damp until you talk to her.

Where do you find Oz Dralett?

On the second floor of the Astrub library, at [7,-19].

Where is the book about the Astrub dragon?

In the apprentice blacksmith Latem Sa's fire, at [7,-16]. Click on the Mould on the left of the map to start the fight and recover the Charred Book.

Is the fight done solo?

No, it can be done in a group. Watch out for Incineration: 500 Fire in an area before the fire kills itself.
