The 8 quest steps

1. 1Ask for the Nikwa rank

   Dialogue[20,-31] · Master of Pandawushu

   In the dojo, ask the Master of Pandawushu to put you through the Nikwa rank test. The four elements of the old Pandawushu are now joined by Wood, which has reappeared on Pandala: hence the five claws. Mastering the five elements, parts of the destructive breath of Wukin and Wukang, makes it possible to use them and to guard against them. He first sends you to meditate in each of the five zones.

   The quest is only offered 24 hours after you finish Sankwa: Path of the Shield.

   

2. 2Buy 5 Pandaburg

   Items[20,-29] · Hairod'og

   If you don't have any, buy 5 Pandaburg from Hairod'og, at 40 kamas each. Each meditation uses one.

3. 3Meditate in the five elements

   Go to the five spots in the order given and click the meditation object. Each time, you lose 1 Pandaburg and feel the element: nature up to a lumberjack's axe blow, the passivity then the turbulence of water, the strength of stone, the heat of fire, then flight through the air.

   The order is fixed: Wood, Water, Rock, Fire, then Wind.

4. 4Report to the Master

   [20,-31] · Master of Pandawushu

   Back at the dojo, tell the Master what you felt with each element. Followers of Wood seek neutrality, those of Water move fluidly, those of Roc keep a steady stance, those of Fire control their breath, and those of Wind, being solitary, think only of improving themselves. He asks you for one wushu essence of each element.

5. 5Collect the five wushu essences

   Items

   Each essence drops at 3% base from monsters in the zone of its element: Plantala for wood, Akwadala for water, Terrdala for rock, Feudala for fire and Aerdala for wind. They are quest resources.

6. 6Give the essences to the Master

   Give the five essences to the Master of Pandawushu. The final trial for the Nikwa rank: defeat one disciple from each elemental school, in a single fight.

7. 7Defeat the five elementary disciples

   Speak to the Master again to say you are ready for the final fight. You fight alone, against all five disciples at once.

8. 8Receive the Nikwa rank

   Dialogue[20,-31] · Master of Pandawushu

   Speak to the Master of Pandawushu again: you passed the trial with flying colors. You receive the Nikwa rank and the Nikwa Headband, a ceremonial item. The quest ends.
