What to prepare

Bring 1,000 kamas, a tankard of Pandazahi or Pandaporo, and your Panduckler to go back to the Ether.

The 10 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Daimya Hikomi

   Dialogue[22,-29] · Daimya Hikomi

   The current guardian of the Ink Dofus refuses to part with it, and the black dragon Orukam cannot break the pact binding them: it is up to you to recover the Dofus. The Daimya advises you to meet someone who can make you fast and discreet.

   

2. 2Meet someone near the Aerdala stairs

   Dialogue[19,-32] · Aerdalan Merchant

   You take the Aerdalan Merchant for your contact, but you are mistaken. To save face, buy an offering from her for 1,000 kamas.

3. 3Read the offering's message

   Use the Grand Puddah Offering from your quest inventory: it contains a message in still-fresh ink, “Two errands to the north”. You need to go up two maps.

4. 4Get rid of the Pandikaze assassins

   Combat[19,-34] · Pandikaze Assassin

   Click on the bamboo trunk next to the Pandawa sculpture: a group of Pandikaze Assassins ambushes you. Talk to one of them. The fight is solo, but Ikunochi joins you and eliminates all the enemies in one go.

5. 5Talk to Ikunochi

   Dialogue[19,-34] · Ikunochi

   Thank Ikunochi: she is the one the Daimya wanted you to meet. The Ink Dofus is in the hands of the Pandora Master, lord of the Pandikazes. To get into his lair incognito, she gives you a flask.

6. 6Enter the Pandora Master's residence

   Movement[22,-37] · Pandissident Guardian

   Use the Concealment Flask from your quest inventory: you get a Pandikaze Mist and you are now turned into a Pandikaze. Pass yourself off as one of them to the Pandissident Guardian: he lets you through.

7. 7Defeat the Pandora Master

   Combat[22,-38] · Pandora Master

   Go up the stairs and enter the residence. The Pandora Master recognizes you right away: solo fight. Ignore the summoned Pandissidents, Ikunochi takes care of them, and kill the Pandora Master yourself. You get the Diaphanous Ink Dofus.

8. 8Go back to see Daimya Hikomi

   Tell her you have taken back the Ink Dofus. She advises you to warn the black dragon without delay.

   

9. 9Go back to the Ether

   Movement[22,-29] · The Grandapan

   Equip your Panduckler in place of your shield and enter the Pandassembly Hall room, on the left. Stand on the carpet in front of the platform to make the Grandapan appear, then talk to him and choose one of the two tankards.

   2. “Drink a tankard of Pandaporo”

   You need the chosen drink: the Pandazahi is bought for 40 kamas from Chonayu in [22,-27], the Pandaporo for 40 kamas from Hairod'og in [20,-29].

10. 10Show the Dofus to Orukam

    Items · Orukam

    At the crossroads of worlds, show the Dofus to the black dragon. The Pandora Master had altered its essence: Orukam restores his egg, which becomes opaque and shiny again. The quest ends and you become the guardian of the Domakuro.

With Daimya Hikomi, in Pandala village in [22,-29], following The Balance of Power.

Who should you meet near the Aerdala stairs?

Not the Aerdalan Merchant, but Ikunochi. Buy the merchant's offering for 1,000 kamas, read her message, then go up two maps to [19,-34].

How do you get into the Pandora Master's place?

With Ikunochi's Concealment Flask. Use it in [22,-37] to turn into a Pandikaze, then trick the Pandissident Guardian.

How do you beat the Pandora Master?

Ignore the Pandissidents and aim for the Master. Ikunochi eliminates the summons from the chests, but it is up to you to kill the Pandora Master.

How do you go back to see Orukam in the Ether?

With the Panduckler equipped and a tankard of Pandazahi or Pandaporo. Make the Grandapan appear on the Pandassembly Hall carpet, in [22,-29].

What does the Domakuro give?

+1 summon, and up to 64 damage starting from turn 5. The bonus depends on the direct-damage attacks of each previous turn: 16 damage with no attack, 8 for one attack, nothing beyond.
