Rivalry

What to prepare

Nothing to gather and no fights: you only need to be able to travel to Frigost Island.

The 6 quest steps

1. 1Talk to Emmy Nens-Grize

   Dialogue[4,-6] · Emmy Nens-Grize

This version is reserved for Neutral characters. Emmy asks you to investigate the sudden reappearance of Frigost Island, a frozen land that vanished around the 6th century.

   Dialogue

   1. “Offer your help as a loyal subject”

Depending on alignment, the quest changes name and starting point, with almost identical steps: Fate for Brakmarians, from Oto Mustam at [-25,33] ; Destiny for Bontarians, from Amayiro at [-32,-57]. You can only do one of the three.

2. 2Board with Captain Ardier

   Movement[-34,-16] · Captain Ardier

At the boat to Frigost Island, Captain Ardier agrees to take you there. If you have never been to the island, he gives you the quest The Icefields, which corresponds to the crossing.

If you have already been to Frigost, join Captain Ardier from the Frigost zaap and cross from Frigost to Cania Bay: it's much shorter than walking across Cania to the boat.

3. 3Meet Lou Bricante

   Dialogue[-77,-42] · Lou Bricante

At the Frigost town hall, ask Lou why the island was cut off from the world. Learning that you come on behalf of an important person, she goes to inform Mayor Cantile.

4. 4Question Mayor Cantile

   Dialogue[-77,-42] · Mayor Cantile

Go up to the mayor's office, on the first floor. The island's glaciation is the work of a Xelor, Count Harebourg, who betrayed the Frigostians in 552; they only reestablished contact with the continent in 640. She sends you to see her archivist.

5. 5Get Hugo Frost's archives

   Items[-78,-43] · Hugo Frost

At the archives tower, Hugo Frost entrusts you with a book that recounts everything, from Count Harebourg's betrayal to the reopening of a sea route to the continent.

6. 6Hand the archives over to Emmy Nens-Grize
