Sleeping Beasty

Level 200 quest started with Draconiros at [21,-33]: understand why Terrakourial locked the Horned Queen in the amber of the Evil Forest. All the steps, the dialogue choices, the resources and the two fights.

What to prepare

Two resources and two fights to do solo. The Lavasmith Dofus helps with the Cra's Ballista fight, which relies on push damage.

  1. 1Talk to Draconiros

    Dialogue · Draconiros

    The quest starts in the receptacle cavern, with Draconiros. He tells you that the Horned Queen is Helzbeth's sister, reincarnated in the World of Twelve in the Primitive Age, and that Terrakourial sealed her. He advises you to question the dragon directly, in his dream.

  2. 2Enter Terrakourial's dream

    Movement · Tungussi

    Go to Otomai Island and talk to Tungussi to enter the dragon's dream. Then go through the trunks at the top left: you arrive in a room with flowers and a raised entrance.

    Normally, the flower puzzle is already solved. If not, click the flowers in this order, numbering them from 1 to 4 starting from the left: 3, 2, 1 then 4.

  3. 3Be taken to Terrakourial

    Movement · Polter Guard

    Talk to the Polter Guard so that he takes you to the dragon.

  4. 4Question Terrakourial

    Dialogue · Terrakourial.

    Tell him about the demoness imprisoned in the amber. He tells you about a dream in which a queen returned from the dead hunts in his forest, under the gaze of the goddess Cra. He doesn't remember why he locked her up: you need to investigate the role of the Great Huntress.

  5. 5Speak with Edrige Valling

    · Edrige Valling

    At the Cra temple, ask Edrige Valling about the Primitive Age, then explain that the matter concerns the goddess Cra, Terrakourial and a demon queen. She recognizes you (the golden apple seed affair) and agrees to help you, but the goddess will only speak to you after her champion's trial.

  6. 6Take the ballista trial

    Combat · Gobin Hood

    Cross the room to the temple's back courtyard and talk to the Gobin Hood, who introduces himself as Cra's champion. The fight against Cra's Ballista starts, and it is done solo.

    2. “Take the trial”

    During placement, the ballista appears on a random cell, but it is teleported to a fixed cell at the start of the fight. If it plays before you and you are in line with its real position, it can kill you in one hit.

  7. 7Talk to Goddess Cra

    Dialogue · Goddess Cra

    The goddess appears after the fight. Explain to her that you prevented Dark Vlad and Hell Mina from freeing the Horned Queen. She promised Terrakourial to spare the demoness as long as she doesn't leave the forest, and advises you to question the old trees, or rather a chattier creature of the Evil Forest.

  8. 8Wake up Old Mossy

    Combat · Old Mossy

    Plan for 1 Sylvan Substrate, then go to and click the skeleton at the foot of what looks like an earthen jaw. Old Mossy comes out of the ground: talk to him. He first mistakes you for Terrakourial, sees that you carry the dragon's Dofus and attacks you. The fight is solo.

  9. 9Heal Old Mossy

    · Old Mossy

    Talk again to Old Mossy, who is trying to regenerate, and give him the Sylvan Substrate. Talk to him again: he understands that you are the guardian of Terrakourial's Dofus and tells you about the demoness's hunt by the goddess Cra and the Gray Hand Ratathrosk, then the negotiations that saved her.

  10. 10Get an Enchanterelle

    Items

    Only if you have none left in your quest inventory, or if the buff has ended. Enchanterelles drop from the Malters of the Enchanted Forest Edge, with a base rate of 5%, while the quest is in progress or completed. Talk to the Malters to start a fight with 2 to 4 monsters, doable in a group of 2 to 4.

    The Malters respawn after 15 minutes. They are quest monsters: idols are not used, so bet everything on prospecting.

  11. 11Enter the amber block

    Dialogue · Hell Mina

    At the barrow, talk to Hell Mina so that she takes you to the dungeon's exit room. If Karnhell and Hell Mina are there, make them leave as last time by talking to Karnhell. Consume 1 Enchanterelle if you no longer have the Beneath the Surface buff, then talk to Terrakourial's Seal.

  12. 12Talk to the Horned Queen

    Dialogue · Horned Queen

    In the amber prison, the Horned Queen showers you with threats. Make her understand that you are the guardian of Terrakourial's Dofus. Your Ochre Dofus then starts to sparkle and a little dragon appears.

  13. 13Listen to Terrakourial

    Dialogue · Terrakourial.

    Terrakourial recovers some of his memories: he cannot free the demoness without breaking his promise, but he offers her to join his dream. Ask him about Sram's betrayal: he mostly warns you against Medoroziam. The quest ends.

The fights

Cra's Ballista

Cra's Ballista

Level 200

Solo combat, at the Cra temple at . The ballista has 20,000 HP, 50% resistances in each element except 0% in Neutral, 0 MP, and it cannot be moved. Invulnerable at range, it can only be hit in melee: it then pushes you back 10 cells and takes the damage of your spell plus 3,000 Neutral damage, a value that goes down with its HP. Never end your turn in line with it, or you will be killed in one hit. Position yourself so that you hit a wall when it pushes you back, and raise your push resistances as high as possible.

  • Sentinel

    Invulnerable at Range for the whole fight. In melee, pushes you back 10 cells and hits itself for about 3,000 Neutral. If a spell prevents you from being pushed back, you take 50% of your HP as Neutral damage. Alternates the Sentinel I, II and III states: in III, hits you for 600 Neutral, pushes you back 4 cells, heals itself for 980 HP and gains 200 push damage and 50 damage on its spells.

  • Purifying Stake

    Hits for 300 Water, without line of sight.

  • Punishing Diamond

    Hits for 400 in a random element and pushes back 6 cells, with infinite range. Gains 200 push damage in 2 turns.

  • Diamundane

    Pushes back 10 cells when you hit it in melee.

  • Parabolic Shot

    Hits for 120 Fire and inflicts 5% erosion for 2 turns, stackable. Range 3 to infinity, without line of sight.

Old Mossy

Old Mossy

Level 200

Solo combat, at . He has 10,000 HP and 3 MP, 90% Earth and Neutral resistances, 18% Fire, 19% Air and -10% Water. Each turn, he summons 2 Bitomoss (2,200 HP, weak to Earth and Neutral, resistant to Water): each Bitomoss killed removes 5% of his Earth and Neutral resistances, up to 60% in total. If not killed, they explode after 2 turns with no effect on him and leave a glyph with radius 2 for 2 turns, which removes 3 dodgeable MP and 3 RNG. On a critical hit, he summons a Bulkybitomoss (5,800 HP, 30% resistances everywhere) that doesn't die on its own. When killed, both summons explode and hurt Old Mossy.

  • Barrow of the Ancients

    At the start of the fight: 5,000 shield points, Barrow of the Ancients and Rooted states, for the whole fight.

  • Tellulwark

    Summons a Bitomoss, twice per turn; a Bulkybitomoss on a critical hit, which hits for about 150 in Air and Fire.

  • Humification

    Hits for 400 Earth, removes 100 AP from you for 1 turn and gives you 3 MP for 1 turn. In melee only.

  • Antediluvian Loam

    Hits for 170 Fire and removes 20 MP dodge. In line, from 2 to 10 RNG.

  • Old Mossy's Flowerbed

    Hits for 300 Water and 300 Air in a square 7 cells on a side, with 15% erosion, 2 MP removed and the Unhealable state for 2 turns. In line, infinite range, 4-turn cooldown.

Where does the quest Sleeping Beasty start?

From Draconiros, in the receptacle cavern at . You must have completed Meanwhile, a Rebirth and Amber Vow, and have the six Primordial Dofus in your inventory.

How do I beat Cra's Ballista?

In melee only, never in line with it at the end of your turn. It is invulnerable at range, pushes you back 10 cells with each hit and takes about 3,000 Neutral damage: stand against a wall and raise your push resistances.

How do I lower Old Mossy's resistances?

By killing his Bitomoss before they explode. Each one removes 5% of his Earth and Neutral resistances, up to 60%, which brings him from 90% to 30%.

What do you have to give Old Mossy?

1 Sylvan Substrate, after defeating him, so that he regenerates and agrees to tell the story.

Where do you find an Enchanterelle?

On the Malters of the Enchanted Forest Edge, with a base rate of 5%. Talk to the Malters, for example at or at , to start the fight; they respawn after 15 minutes.
